The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the rear and front defrosters were inoperable, which reduced the contact's visibility out of the rear and front windshields. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that it was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 71,000.

The weld on the air conditioning condeser has broken on the drivers side. This is causing the freon to leak out of the vehicle. This causes extremely high temperatures in the vehicle, and also causes the windows to fog up.

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that they used the remote starter to start the vehicle from inside the house. After a few minutes, the contact noticed a little smoke coming from the rear sliding glass window. The contact walked out to the vehicle to investigate the origin of the smoke and noticed that the glass from the rear window was glowing a cherry red color. The contact immediately turned off the engine and exited the vehicle right before the rear window glass shattered. The dealer (elm Chevrolet, 301 E church St, elmira, NY 14901) stated that the vehicle was not covered by a warranty. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure was due to wiring short circuit. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 40,000.
