Already has a recall that has been lasting for 9 years! I believe that Chevrolet is waiting for more of these to no longer being used, so they won't have to fix so many. Then in August 2015 I came in they provided a tag for the mirror with the miles written on it. Then I was told that it wouild not be covered under warranty and was asked to leave.since then I have returned to dealership was told it was the issue of the manufacture not G.M. then again I made an appointment they told me I was not on file and they did not sell the vehicle to me, so then I brought proof that in fact I had purchased vehicle and had previously had be in for service. While driving on a two lane road at ~45 mph, I struck a deer on the front passenger side of the truck. The air bag deployed but did not come out of the center steering. Air bag dust was coming out of the back of the steering wheel, no air bag. I was very confused. The front bumper was pushed in ~2.5 inches. I am fortunate that I did not hit another car, since the airbag malfunctioned on deployment.

I drive this truck every day and wonder why my government does not make GM repair these horrible airbags. It was almost as if the service manager was laughing at me for wanting the repair, stated it is just a few pellets and probably want hurt you the driver but might the passage "who knows"! I want this repaired and want to know why 8 years later that I cannot get it repaired?
