Driving vehicle on the 7th day of ownership with cruise control on. On a slight down grade vehicle accelerated 20 mph over set cruise speed before I shut cruise off. The next morning, the vehicle continued accelerating after I took my foot off the gas at a light causing vehicle to crash into another vehicle. Chevy dealer in henderson, nv handled very poorly. Nearly two months after crash, GM called me and stated that their 3rd party independent evaluation (done by a retired GM employee) of the vehicle and its computers doesn't show any failure or malfunction to verify my claim. GM can say what they want. I know what happened and my wife and family witnessed the accident. GM had no interest in talking to them. For their protection, I'll take a loss and trade the vehicle as soon as I get it back. Just wanted a public record of situation in case of any future similar incidents. Ironically, I was impressed by vehicle and quality the week I had it. The report GM sent me appeared to confirm what I said happen, but they said not.
