I have had a "service air bag" light on for close to two years but the repair shop does not want to provide service on this because of the recall. I can, at times, drive upto 1000 miles a week, it would be nice if this could be taken care of.

Takata recall I bought the vehicle from a private seller and was not told about the recall. I found out this past weekend when I was at a dealership to possibly trade in the vehicle. My complaint is specifically because there is no remedy at this time meanwhile I am driving around in a unsafe vehicle. I have to much invested in this truck to sell it for way under book value, which is what dealerships are offering.
