Airbag recall is taking a really long time I have 5 children that have to ride in my 2016 traverse with an active airbag recall that states the inflator could shoot shrapnel into the cabin where my kids are at. I'd like for my kids to be safe while riding in my vehicle. How much longer is general motors going to take to get this issue fixed. It's been almost 6 months since the recall was issued. The transmission blew while I was driving down the highway and my car dash was flashing transmission hot and My car would no longer move. It was smoking and leaked fluids everywhere. I was scared to death it was gonna catch fire but thankfully it didn-??t.
