This Preliminary Information communication advises the technician that effective November 1st, 2010 the Drive Motor Generator Control Module part number 24266807 and 24279524 will be placed on restriction through the General Motors Technical Assistance Center. Dealer will need to contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance.
