This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicle's that may have a high voltage battery they may not charge, charging Diagnostic Trouble Codes, and or vehicle will not shift out of park. Technician will need to inspect the charge receptacle for micro cracking or water intrusion. Technician will need to replace the charge receptacle with the updated part number.
