This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have Malfunction Indicator Lamp on and the vehicle will not charge. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0D22. Technician will need to review the Diagnostic Trouble Code P0D22 freeze frame data in Global Diagnostic System 2 that it is stored in a session log, then erase the Diagnostic Trouble Code and make sure the vehicle charges correctly and then advise the customer that an updated calibration will be released.
