Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about the difficulty in detecting internal combustion engine misfires with a fully charged high voltage battery. Technician should ensure that the high voltage battery charge indicator is showing at least 2 bars below fully charged whenever performing strategy based diagnostics related to misfire.
