"takata recall". to begin, my car wouldn't accelerate, I'd be driving and it would hesitate then take off reallty hard as to even jerk. Did this a couple of times before I took it in to the dealership, one place told me it was nothing wrong, took it to another dealership because it kept stalling as I was on the highway and they said it was an electrical issue. Then another issue occurred with the dash illuminating telling me my airbags alert displaying on my dash (2X)took it back to dealership, though they kept it for a week, they said it was because someone kicked the wiring loose under my passenger seat. No one has ever sat in my back seat. Now my car is in the shop because at first the malfunction light illuminated, drove my car to work, returned to my car and it wouldn't start, had roadside jumpstart it, and it started, went back out later and it wouldn't start, as I tried to get out, my dash lit up and I had to push the button for it to turn off, as I'm walking away, my car literally tries to accelerate on its own, as if I hit my remote start. Had it taken into the dealership. They diagnosed my car as having a faulty climate control module ( first off, I drive 17 miles to and from work everyday, my climate control has been beyond functional, I literally have to turn it off because it gets so cold in my car) and they also said my car stalled because of a bad battery, and said the burning I smelled on the passenger door was a faulty wire and thats why its not functioning properly, which they're repairing, but charging me for it. I have had so many issues with this car since I purchased it. When I'm driving and turn the wheel to the left, it sounds like something is going to break, also my breaks will lock up on me if it's raining and I'll slide ( really)?? this car has been nothing less then a lemon.

Changed the battery out and my entire climate control shut down. Fan or defrost won't work, heat or air. Dealership said the climate panel needs to be replaced because the computer is fried.

I've had multiple issues. First, my car stalled as I was driving down main streets, the first time I took it to the dealership, they said they couldn't find a problem with it. Second dealership I took it to said it was an electrical issue my car was having, kept it for a week, repaired the issue.second time I took it in was because my airbag alert illuminated on the dash, again, they said it was a wiring issue, someone had kicked the wiring loose under the passenger seat.then I had it towed in because it completely stopped on me while I was driving it.now it's in the shop because the malfunction came on, I still attempted to drive it to work, but when I went back out for lunch, it wouldn't start. Went back out when I got off work and it wouldn't start... however, while I was getting out, the dash lit up as and kept beeping as if the car was running, so I actually had to push the start button to turn it off, weird, right! but then as I'm walking away from the car, it's trying to accelerate on its own, as if I was trying to remote start it. Had it towed to dealership. They're diagnostic explanation for my car - my climate control module doesn't work, and I need a new battery, and yes my door panel had some faulty wires and they're waiting for the parts to repair this, but it's something I have to pay for. When I turn my car to the left, it sounds like something is going to break. My tires slide when it's raining, even though I purchased new ones. Also, my climate control has been beyond functioning. I drive 17 miles to and from work, and I have to turn it down because it's freezing sometimes. It's sad to know I purchased a lemon and that they cannot be honest about their recalls and making sure my safety comes before their negligence., and stop trying to coverup their screwups in manufacturing a total lemon.

Push button start requires foot on brake, car in park and press of button/ignition. When doing so, the engine will not start. Lights, radio, open door warning bells ding, but car will not start. Fuses and battery have been checked and are good. Car must be boosted off to start. Chrysler will not fix this on their dime even though there are recalls for this on other vehicles of the same make and model as mine. Service and recall team was very rude and refused to offer any help.

The car was parked in a parking lot and went to start the car and it wouldn't start. It made some unusual noises and all kinds of lights flashing. The instrument panel was flickering off and on. Many warnings popped up. The brake pedal was very hard to push, there was a lot of resistance. Even said car fob not detected and both fobs were in the car and have new batteries. When we got out and locked the car and tried to get back in the car, we couldn't get it to unlock. Then tried to unlock it a couple of hours later and was able to get it to unlock but car still wouldn't start.

My Chrysler 200 year 2015 and while driving it on the freeway it will mot get the speed up. The mist it goes is about 60 miles per hour and this is when im already on the freeway. When entering the freeway it goes in very slowly I push gas pedal and it won't go past 40 miles per hour. Also at any time while driving it, it starts pulling itself like if it wants to turn off while driving. I feel this us very dangerous for me and my family. I have changed spark plugs and coils and it continues to nit function correctly.

"takata recall" you had published on July 28, 2015 of an intermittent connection C4 connector & pdc recall for Chrysler cars. The purpose of this recall was due to intermittent loss of power to electrical components causing vehicle to stall without warning. We have a 2015 Chrysler 200 and it has the same issue that was outlined in the recall. I called the hotline and spoke to a lady that stated that not all cars that are affected by the recall; are recalled. Our vehicle has within the past 3-4 weeks stalled on the highway 2-3 times and even pulling into our own driveway. Please look into this and issue a recall so we will not be part of a vehicle accident.

My 2015 Chrysler 200 limited would not start and the brake was extremely tight. I was glad I was parked in my garage and not driving only to have it stall. The lights and radio came on at first. I thought maybe my key fob battery was low so I used another key fob with a fresh battery. Well it still didn't start. So went to work. Luckily I have an old car I could use. When I came home to see if the car would start it was completely dead. No lights, no dashboard lights, trunk won't open, doors won't lock and unlock. Just completely dead. I have had the car for four years now and it has given me a couple of problems but this is the worst. I wish I had never bought this vehicle. It is a total waste of money. Now I will have to take it to the dealer again!

I was driving about 35 to 40 mph and the car suddenly began to slow down to 5 miles an hour. I pulled over to the side of the road and it shut off. I had it towed where the dealership told me it was the battery.they kept my car for two days. For a new battery. So I popped up there with my fianc and drove around to the back side of the dealership. I got in my car it started right up. My car had not been touched or anything. I went to the service cashier where he tried to say that put a brand new battery in it. But I pulled up my cell phone pics showing it's the same battery that I put red finger nail polish on to show it's my same battery. They made me pay for ' looking St my car' even though they didn't. I never bought another battery. I drove my car off the lot and the next day it did the same thing again except this time the brake pedal was stiff and I was not able to turn the nozzle to put it in gear. I had it towed to another dealership and they said it was 'the battery'. they jumped my car off and sent me on my way. The A/C is going in and out and it smells moldy when I am able to start the piece of sh*t. I tried to trade my car in this passed Sunday and they said I needed a consigner and 10K down. I don't have bad credit. They were just saying that because they know my car isn't worth anything. The salesman antoine strong told me it's only a matter of time before the transmission goes out. I have 75K miles on my car. It has been one nightmare after the other. This is the worst car I have ever had. Please help me get out of this car. Oh the dealership I got this sh*tty car from is landmark Dodge Jeep Chrysler Ram in morrow, ga. They don't care about what type of car you want they only want to put you in a new car. Transmission issues for almost a year. I have explained them to the dealership who refuses to document. I purchased this car new the summer of 2015. It had sealants misssing from the manufacture and so it had a leak that resulted in the dealership having my car for 2 months and me having to force them to replace my carpeting they let sit in the sun for 2 weeks and mold and to replace parts in my car that they broke the clips on trying to find the leak. Several times they called me to come and get my car with mold in it and parts still hanging. I had to get managers involved. I came to get an oil change once and they sent me out onto the street without tightening the lugs and I was wobbling down the street and they lied and said the pressure was off balance. Once my car shut off with no oil it. They said it's likely the engine. My tire pressure has been saying its low since about a week after purchasing the car. Soon as I put air in, less than 24 hours its low. The windshield wipers have always sounded extremely loud. I had a thermometer go out before 3 yrs old. I barely have 30,000 miles on my car right now. Now my car wouldn't stay on when I tried to take it out of park in my driveway thurs. It stalled for a second to start up then it wouldn't come back on. I tried several times until it cranked up like normal, but then it refused to switch gears saying check transmission and park sense and to put back in park then shift gears. After that I had to have my battery charged to crank. The next day I had to get a boost. My battery and alternator tested good, but the check engine light is now on mentioning a throttle sensor and watchdog performance. Dealership claims my battery is bad. I again told them my transmission wasn't sensing correcrtly and switching gears cuts my car off sometimes. The technician says I need to pay $428 to have them replace my "bad" battery first.

While driving at 30 mph vehicle would not shift, transmission light illuminated on dashboard and two messages stated performance shifting was unavailable, service transmission message came across screen. Vehicle displayed 4th gear at all times, placed it in park, would not shift out of park at first, eventually came out of park and was still displaying 4th gear. Armory Chrysler dealer in upstate NY stated it was actually stuck in 2nd gear, they stated there were stored codes, but were unable to tell me what they were. At this point they are unable to replicate the problem and stated that because it was intermittent that it was probably electrical. Still waiting for diagnostics from armory Chrysler dealer

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the vehicle would not start and the engine eventually seized. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the power distribution control unit was defective. The mechanic informed the contact that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 15V470000 (electrical system) and suggested that she tow the vehicle to a local dealer. The contact towed the vehicle to lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of bryan college station (301 N earl rudder fwy, bryan, tx 77802, 979-213-5361) where they performed their own diagnostic testing and stated that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 100,000.

5/30/19 I purchased my car from gage auto sales in Oregon. On 06/01/19 I was left stranded on the side of the road because it would not start. I had to have the car towed to the dealership. On 6/2 dealership said there were no starting issues and no codes and I could pick up the car. Starting issues progressively got worse. Leaving me stranded many times. Check engine light came on 6/23/19. 6/24/19 took car back to the dealership which they had until 07/12/19 stating is was the key fob and push start button. One week it ran fine then rapidly began to not start, check engine lights came on along with transmission lights. The car has been a lemon since day one. The dealership has sent me to a third party mechanic and are telling me the transmission is not covered under my extended warranty. This car had these problems the day after I bought it. It was defective when I purchased it and no one at gage auto sales will help me. I am 23 years old trying to make it on my own and there is no way I can pay 1500 to re-program the transmission. Please help me!

Air bag sensor, cooling thermostat and hosing. Shocks headlight issues electrical. I have put two thermostat and changed hosing twice. There are sever recalls listed on the same make year and model and under my VIN there's no recalls yet I'm experiencing the same issues that were recalled on the same year make and model. This does not make since why isn't my car covered for the recalls. I took my car to Chrysler dealer and called cooperate and they said my car isn't covered but there's recalls with the same issues for the same year make and model.
