My car keeps stopping in the middle of traffic. It has been serviced, but what ever the service department is doing its not working. This car is unsafe and as caused danger to my type 1 diabetic husband and myself. The car is now in my drive way. I have been having problems with this since since I purchased it in February 2017, and they never fix the problem. The car jerks and stops and starts when it want to. I have changed the batteries in the remote several times and have taking it to three different places for a diagnosis, and Chrysler cant seem to fix the problem when they built the car. I need help. I am still paying on this piece of a car. Everyone that has this car says they car does the same thing. So I know there is a recall for this vehicle. This car has stop and will not start at all.

Vehicle literally shuts off abruptly with absolutely no warning signs but restarts again perfectly except for you have to reprogram radio and climate control. The first time it happened which was 2 days ago I was coming to a stop at a stop light and it turned green almost immediately, I pressed the gas and within seconds the car just came to an abrupt stop engine electrical everything went dead. Then today it happened to me twice the first time I was at a fast food drive-thru ordering with my foot on the brake, no warning sign it kind of clunks it jerks and then it says if somebody were to have just shut the car off. The third time I was coming out of the grocery store parking lot, coming up to a light slightly pressing the brake and it completely clunk cut off. I have been extremely extremely lucky that nobody has rear-ended me in any of these circumstances, but I am very dependent on my car however I am now avoiding using it. I looked into the problem by reading articles and this seems to have been a problem at one time for my make and model of car I am very concerned about this problem.

The car stalls out intermittently. I will be driving down a city road and the car just looses power and then stalls out. After the car has stalled it does not want to start again unless it is jump started or battery is disconnected and the reconnected.

On November 21, 2020, the 7th day I purchased my car from car max, I drove my car from tx to ar. Nearly halfway to ar the dashboard lights started flickering and went off and on several times. I could not believe it has it during the day time. Once I arrived in ar, the dashboard continued to flicker but there were no error messages on the dashboard to indicate a problem. Later that night, I drove to the store and in the store parking lot the car quit on me after the lights flickered several times!!! I am livid! I have a 5-year old daughter in the car with me! what if the car stops on the highway" why hasn't Chrysler fixed this issue? I'm just now reading about this issues with numerous car owners!!! I desire to have this investigated and fixed immediately! if something we're to happened to my child and I would that not be horrible" things like this should not exists as this is dangerousssssss!!! our lives are at stake and I do not appreciate that!

My lights on the dash board keep cutting off, it keep saying there is a problem with my steering and can't turn, stalls when pulling off, and cut off while driving. I travel on a busy city street and scared I might cut off or stalled and cause an accident and get killed or kill someone else due to my car malfunctioning. Everything happens to my car in motion and I have to keep programming my key to my car.

My car shifted to neutral 6 times within a 600 mile radius on the interstate and engine would shut down. I had to coast over to the side of the interstate turn ignition completely off before I could put gear in part then sit for 15-20mins before the car would start up again. We done this 6 times before getting to our destination. Thank god it wasn't a lot of traffic. Took to three different mechanics before I found out some recalls had been issued for the transmission and wiring. My warranty expired a few months before the issues started so Chrysler want honor my recall. I'm still having problems with the sensors.

I have a 2015 Chrysler 200S which I got in January 2016. I had gone to a dealership to see about a trade in I had at the moment. When the car was taken to see value of it another car 'hit it' therefore the salesman felt it was his responsibility to help. I got a Chrysler 200S w/ no down payment or anything. Too good to be true, right? not even a year later my car wouldn't start and I went to check on the Chrysler website for any recalls. My surprise was that there was multiple recalls for this car. I called the dealership and they sent a towing truck to come and get it. 2 days later they said that something was wrong with my car and magically the recalls issue was mentioned as if I didn't know. The transmission was replaced as well as the battery after them loaning me a pacifica for the inconvenience of my car being at the shop. To my surprise the pacifica didn't even last a day because the same issue happened and it stopped working as I was in the highway. The year after same issue happened and they had to keep it for another 2 days to charge the battery. November 2019 comes and the same issue happened after being told that this wouldn't happen. The battery was replaced once again. November 2020, and the same issue happened so I went to a different dealership and I was told the battery couldn't be replaced because it was out of warranty. I've called Chrysler several times throughout the years and they say it'll be fixed but the issue keeps going. My car hasn't even reached 100K miles, it's barely going to hit 61K miles and I'm still stuck with a 11K note on the car that doesn't even work.

The vehicle check engine light permanently stays on and the vehicle will just die as you're driving it could be in the middle of an intersection it could be when you're reversing it doesn't matter I just wants to die and then not start up and it sounds like the gears are not automatically shifting. We have to have the computer reset often in order for our vehicle to drive. It's been happening for a couple years now.

On September 17th, 2020 I was driving my great niece to daycare and when I parked the car and cut it off, it would not start back up or allow me to shift at all. A new battery was purchased which did nothing, a towing service was called and it was flatbed delivered to a certified mechanic and it was determined that the computer brain is gone and the car will not cut off when you push the button to cut it off, they had to disconnect the negative battery terminal. This is a 2015 Chrysler 200 limited with only 53,000 miles and I don't know if it's the powertrain or anything because the brain is gone. They built these cars with no safety in mind. I am just thankful it didn't stop on the highway with my baby inside. And now the Chrysler dealership wants to charge thousands to repair it.

The contact researched the vehicle failures online and believes the failures were related to NHTSA campaign numbers: 15V470000 (electrical system) and 15V090000 (power train). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not under recall. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

First I received the wheel sensor warning. Then the air bag warning. Then a vape leak issue, and now my dash lights are going completely out making it impossible to detect speed. It has occurred multiple times in the last few days. The affected vehicles may have a power distribution center (pdc) electrical connector that may cause intermittent power failures to certain electrical components.
