The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact was traveling 70 mph with the cruise control engaged when the vehicle shifted to a lower gear and failed to accelerate. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who confirmed the valve retainer springs in the engine needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 97,000 and the current mileage was 99,000.

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that the front end of the vehicle would vibrate abnormally when driving various speeds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the failure was located at the engine cradle. The engine cradle exhibited several holes due to severe corrosion and the contact was advised that the vehicle was not safe to drive. The manufacturer was also contacted and denied any assistance with the repair because the vehicle was not included in the engine cradle extended warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and the current mileage was 149,783.
