This vehicle is a handicap conversion van modified by revability / vmi in the modification - revability has replaced the factory fuel tank with one of their own design and construction. In doing so - they use the Chrysler factory components such as the fuel pump, fuel gauge sender unit, emissions connections, etc. However - the fuel gauge has never worked properly since I purchased the van and it gives misleading information about the fuel level. It registers only 3/4 full on the dash when in fact the tank is full. If you try to add any more fuel (as I found out when I first purchased the van) - it affects the emissions controls severely and makes the van un-drivable; in fact the engine will stall unexpectedly in traffic which is a severe hazard. Further - the low tank level is unpredictable so you are never sure when to refill, if the fuel gets too low then the engine can also stop in traffic. The company is well aware of this problem but cannot fix it. I have had it to the original selling dealership (jay hatfield mobility in lee's summit Missouri) several times as revability said the repairs were covered under their manufactures warranty. The dealership has been unable to fix the problem and has since not renewed their contract with revability. So the problem still exists and the powertrain 'check engine' light comes on periodically - which jay hatfield mobility said they had nothing to do with and would not do any further repairs. My wife is handicapped and in daily rehab treatment - so I need this van every day and need it fixed properly - however the van conversion manufacturer has no instructions or information that they can supply for a correct repair. I believe that revability / vmi should be responsible for fixing this problem properly or replacing this van as it is / can be a safety hazard to operate without a properly functioning fuel gauge.

Fuel pump nozzles don't work with Pacifica and auto shut off every second. There must be something wrong with design where nozzle senses fuel and shuts off. This is not only super annoying but a safety hazard. Since the fuel pump auto shuts off every two seconds, I have to keep pressing it and don't know when it is false and when it is really a full tank. This results in overflow (top off effect) which is hazardous!!! this is not isolated.... 4 out of 5 pumps do this! please help as I know others have same issue from the online forums. I can provide video of this.

Purchased the vehcile in 2018 electric brake vacuum pump went out while driving no accident in 2019. ~ mileage 55,000 extended warranty covered. Air conditioning compressor pump out at 70K miles. December 2020. Driving, and I heard the air make a noise and realized it was warm air. Axle shaft out at 68K miles October 2020. Causing struts to go bad and leak. Parts on backorder. Car automatic transmission is rough changing gears. Told I need fuel injectors cleaned. My cost was over $400. I had it done at another service provider, no change. Advised by dealer they needed to clean fuel injections replaced 3 batteries in 3 years. Twice the vehicle died wile driving causing the power steering a brakes to tighten up. Mopar battery bought and instaled from dealership. Venginesmell like anit-freeze - dealership sadvised it past test and no issues

My 2017 Pacifica has had many electrical problems with the windows, sunroof, sliding doors, navigation, electronic screen, and rear hatch which have been repaired except for the passenger window & sunroof. But the problem that I have told the dealership about repeatedly and they say they can never recreate is that the car doesn't accelerate often times until after the car glides into the intersection, and when it does it lurches forward. I drive cautiously because I know I am at risk of getting hit if the engine doesn't kick in the next time I turn in front of oncoming traffic! this has been going on since I bought the car.

The contact owns a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. After refueling the vehicle, the contact was unable to restart the vehicle. After several attempts, the vehicle restarted and unknown warning indicators remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to olathe Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (located at 15500 w 117th St, olathe, ks 66062, (913) 780-3700) to be diagnosed, which was still pending. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,508. Piir = Y.

Leasing 2017 pacific touring L. ever since it passed 8K miles, jerking movements after coming to a stop, like some body hit you from behind. Took it East hills Chrysler and Jeep dealer in long island, NY twice. The first time they updated the software they said. 2nd time they couldn't duplicate the problem. Ofcourse cuz this jerking movement happens. Sometimes. In June 2019 this is happening a lot everyday with the NY city traffic on the highway. May 2019, van stalled while stopped at red light. Screen said 'shift to park to drive....' had to do shift and press the start button twice to get the control back of the vehicle. This time wife and 2 children with me. Of course ppl started honking and yelling cuz it's nyc. Also most of the time while fueling, the fuel pump stops. Really scared to drive this van anymore.

This caused a violent motion in the car. This is a repeated issue with this van. The vehicle electronics malfunctioned with the windows rolling down on there own. Following that the vehicle completely shutdown at around 40 mph locking up the steering, loss of power steering, engine turned off and would not restart. This occurred on the highway and this is the second time this occurred. The key fob will not work and the car will not start again. I can't even lock the vehicle. Luckily we had started to slow down and did not have to turn or this would have resulted in an accident with my kids in the vehicle. I will not be putting my family in this van again.

Loss of power while driving at a high speed, 60-70 mph. This problem was said to be addressed in a January 2018. On November 9,2018 while on I75 North bound lane in toledo, Ohio, by exit 200, in the left hand lane at about 1:00 pm, the Pacifica lost all.power. When I went to shut the engine off a warning came on saying "car must be in park to stop. I then put the shift nob to drive, the car then tried to backup. I then put the indicator back to park and this time the engine shut off. I then restarted the car. Everything seemed normal. With road Ranger assistance, I then went to the nearest Chrysler dealer. They then checked everything out with their computer. It showed previous glitches, but everything was working as normal. I then proceeded on my journey. I called Chrysler car and documented the problem.

Driving at 70 mph, my Pacifica just shut off. Had no control, had nothing. Managed to pull over to the side of the road. When called into the beaver county Chrysler dealership I was told, "we just sell them, we don't make them." His vehicle has been one issue after another. The sliding doors not closing, the dvd player not working, the radio not working, the sliding door on driver's side still not working and they had to completely replace the gas tank because I couldn't even put gas in the tank it would shut off and wouldn't let gas get into the tank. Now this. We were scared for our lives and then told, "we just sell them we don't build them." This is not a safe vehicle.... consumer stated problem was solved. Updated 12/19/18

Car was in motion, in traffic, using cruise control on a two lane highway. An attempt was made to accelerate and pass the slower car ahead. When accelerating to override the cruise control, the car decelerated and felt as though the brakes were being engaged. Fortunately oncoming traffic did not approach before the car was able to limp back the lane. Mullane motors serviced the vehicle to fix the problem. Two days later the car again decelerated when applying gas to proceed, a warning flash appeared that said electronic throttle needs to be serviced. All this happened a few moths after we had our car to the dealership for the recall regarding the cruise control and two days after servicing to fix the deceleration happening as gas pedal is depressed.

Check engine light keeps coming on and when a service tech checks it, it is saying that the pressure is off in regards to the gas tank cap. They reset it and it comes back on 2 weeks later. They told me never to turn the car on while fueling, which I have never done. I believe this is a defective part or software and they need a fix for it.

The vehicle shut off as if the "key" had been turned off in the middle of traffic while moving, on the highway accompanied by the message "shift to park" my wife shifted to park then restarted it, the vehicle continued to repeat this multiple times until she was able to make it to an exit ramp and park in a safe area. This is the second time this has happened in the span of about 8 months. It has been to 2 dealers, both times we where told that no codes where stored internally therefor they didnt know what to repair. Our van has been modified for a wheelchair for our disabled teenager because of this we have no choice but to keep driving it in this condition. Not to mention how undependable it feels.
