Van will randomly not start after just being driven. Dash board lights up and engine clicks but will not turn over. Several messages come up for service. (see pictures attached.) has happened once before about 2 weeks ago and there's no explanation as to why it started back up after about an hour of problem solving. Battery was fine. Headlights, horn, inside lights and radio all worked fine. When clicking on parking brake button, the lights flash on the dash and can hear clicks but won't turn on the brake.

Coming home from church, a neighbor was out washing his car, as he moved toward the road I began to apply the brakes and the engine sped up to a higher speed. After I stopped the car, I looked down to see my right shoe was on both pedals. This had happened three times before. My son went out and checked the brake fluid and found it at the minimum level. He topped it off to the maximum level. My son believes that will take care of the problem. But reporting it might be better for others. Since I had taken it into Chrysler a couple of weeks ago and they said they had preformed a 32 point safety inspection, I did not see how the could have missed the low brake fluid, or have not topped it off. It seems the brake pedal is up higher than the gas pedal by several inches when the car is first started, but after several miles - more than 11 miles - it loses the height it started with. The vehicle was moving at less than 20 mph on a subdivision street. This had happened three times before, while pulling into a parking place or driveway, moving at low speed. Each tim after having driven a longer distance than normal. Over 11 miles. The brake pedal had gone lower to the floor and was at or below the level of the gas pedal. If this is to be expected, the brake and gas pedal are much too close together, only 3 inches between them, and this is then a problem.

Was using park assist and the car did not park itself correctly and hit another car. While using park assist feature the car started to move too fast and the sterling wheel did not turn the car correctly. The car was moving so fast, there was no time to press the brake. In the result our car hit another parked car and jumped on the curb. In the result our rear bumper and rear door were damaged. We contacted Chrysler right away to tell what had happened, the representative told us to contact our insurance and then insurance will do investigation. When we contacted our insurance the representative said that Chrysler is the one who does the investigation. After that Chrysler was contacted by us numerous times, each time different representative, each time some information was missing from the case that investigation team could not start to do their investigation. So, each time I spoke with the representative (I have their names) we were adding missing information, and creating new case number. It took almost a month for the investigator to contact us to do the car inspection. By this time the car was fixed thru insurance. After the inspection took place Chrysler did not send us any solution or suggestion if park assist needs to be fixed. The only letter they send stating that since the car was fixed nothing they can do about this issue. So its unclear either all features in this car function properly. I think it's not fair that my insurance had to pay and made this accident as my fault

While driving my 2018 Pacifica in 45 mph traffic on a local road, the car flashed 'stability control' and lost all power. The brakes went hard, the car completely stalled. The display read 'stability control' then disappeared from the screen and it instructed me to put car in park and to restart the car. The second time this happened I was driving 50 mph on a state highway slowing to make a left turn when the vehicle did the exact same thing as stated above.

The contact owns a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. When the contact pulled into a parking space, the brakes did not stop the vehicle and the gear did not shift into park. As a result, the vehicle crashed into a wall. The contact had to pump the brake pedal a couple of times until the vehicle stopped. The contact sustained a minor injury that did not require medical attention. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was damaged and driven to Suburban Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of garden city (734-421-5700, located at 32850 Ford rd, garden city, mi 48135), but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The dealer suggested that the contact might have depressed the accelerator pedal instead of the brake pedal. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.

After driving the van in reverse, the typical process is to stop the van, put it into drive, and begin going forward.
