Car started and the shifting knob got stuck in nuetral this isn't the the first time this has happened. No mater what I tried it wouldn't budge had to the dealer twice about it they said they needed to order a part. They are in northeast Ohio Right now I am 200 miles from home on a Sunday. And hope a local dealer has the part This van has been a disappointment to say the least.

Sliding door shuts, beeps and reopens. we have to hit the button 3-5 times before it shuts. Back up camera flashes blue and does not work. Aux battery keeps going dead and the auto start stop quits working. I just had to spend 1000 to fix all the issues. after seeing other comments this seems to be quite a problem with a lot of these vans.

I was stopped at light going straight and when the light turned green, I pressed on the gas pedal but the van wouldn't move as it had stalled out. The shift knob was stuck on drive which started blinking and the start/stop warning light came on. I turned the vehicle off and tried to restart it but it still failed to move. I tried to restart it a second time and this time it did start to move. Extremely inconvenient and unsafe when stuck in the middle of an intersection. Also have had issues with the left passenger rear door continously opening back up after trying to close it. Nothing is in the way of the door which I had confirmed multiple times so I'm not sure if something is wrong with the sensor or if it's part of the electrical system failing.

Multiple times while stationary when starting the car, the push button starter will fail to start the engine. Upon second attempt to start the car the starter has a prolonged series of cranks and finally starts. The concern is this has happened multiple times after just purchasing the car. This could be a safety issue if it happens while driving, and engine shuts off, or could strand us without the the ability to start the car.

I was driving straight at 40mph. The engine turned off, but electrical maintained. After a couple hundred feet the engine came back on. Without pushing on the gas the engine accelerated the car over a short distance, break was inputted and full control was restored to the physical. We took the vehicle to the dealer, but nothing was done as they couldn't replicate the issue. This vehicle has had numerous electrical issues.

When we shut the sliding door electronicly. It opens back up on its own. It beeps and then opens again. Sometimes we shut the door go in a store and the door is open cause it just opens on its own.

Manufacturer (Chrysler) mailed me a legal notice that my vehicle could catch fire and / or explode at anytime whether parked, idling or driving because of a defect in the hybrid battery components (inverter). They told me not to park next to anything or anyone, not to allow moisture of any kind into the vehicle and to not park or store it in any enclosed structure like a garage. They said to wait for a fix for the problem as there was not yet resolution. I responded to them asking for a loaner car or rental and was told no. It has been almost a year and still no Chrysler dealership can offer a fix, however they did come out with a 2020 model that was built without the problem. This is a serious safety recall that our government seems to be ignoring. I am left with a lemon I cannot safely store park or drive. I paid 55K for this hybrid, was told I would get 80 mpg when I only get 17 mpg and I have to worry that if moisture gets into these hybrid battery components by vehicle could kill me or others. I live in Washington where everything is wet and we have to take ferries..: Chrysler doesn't respond to my letters.

My van completely shut down while driving with my 2 kids in the car and would not start back up. It was not from the auto start/stop feature. The radio interior lights everything shut off. It would not even allow me to get it in N to push it. It was very scary because I was in the middle of a highway with my children. It is not my battery, alternator, or starter because I've had them tested. After speaking to multiple people and reading on the Chrysler forums this seems to be a common issue. If this issue persists I will be trading it in for a different make and model. Bummed because I absolutely love this van.

Had a wheel alignment it still pulling to the side.I do think it the control arm lower arm, train axle assembly axle shaft. Radio doesn't work correct or with bluetooth. If I get a call it won't go back to playing the radio or bluetooth. Need to turn off car for awhile and start again! back camera sometimes blackout.

When I shifted into reverse to back out of a parking spot where I'd had the car turned off, the main infotainment screen went completely blue after briefly showing the usual backup camera and 360 view. It was about 23 degrees outside.

The van was running and I was stopped in the middle of an intersection, waiting to turn left. A warning message popped up on the dash--something about the start/stop system. I released my foot from the brake so as to continue through the intersection. Interior and exterior lights remained on however the vehicle would not move. I could not turn the shift knob out of drive, even after several attempts. Depressing the gas pedal has no effect. At some point I may have pressed the brake and then turned the shift knob back to park. I was then able to restart the vehicle and get out of the intersection. I was able to drive home after but the experience was dangerous and frightening.

While I am at a quick stop - stop sign, rotary, light, intersection - my vehicle will shut off without warning, causing me to have to put the car into park, restart, and put the car back into drive before I am able to continue in motion. This causes me to stall for 30 seconds - 1 minute with traffic piling up behind me.

Touch screen is not turning on. I have started my vehicle a few different times hoping will come back on, but no luck. Unable to get to any of the functions including backup came does not come on with is a safety issue in accordance, "the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that it would require all automobiles sold in the United States built beginning in May 2018 to include backup cameras." Unable to use any of the climate controls, heated seats or vented seats, radio, uconnect etc.. all features unable to use do to black screen. This vehicle has been to the dealership multiple times with multiple screen swaps and continues to happen. I was told by the dealership humidity causes the screen to go black or not work. I addition, I have notified the dealership when changing out the screen please change all wiring harness. I do not know if this was ever completed or not. There is a short somewhere and without back up cam working it is a major safety issue. I will be driving and the screen will go blank. This has been on going for over a year since 2019

A safety recall was issued in the spring of 2020. I've tried for several months to get a dealer to inspect and/or repair the vehicle and they have not done so. I have been told numerous times that parts are on backorder. No one will even inspect the vehicle. In the meantime, I've been instructed to park my vehicle outside so that it doesn't burn my house down. It should not take a year to inspect and repair a known safety issue

Very frequently the utheater application will not work after shutting van off and restarting. We have gone through 1 battery a year even though it is supposed to have a 5 year life. After stopping at a red light the auto start/stop causes the van to die. I had to completely restart the van. Out of nowhere driving home doing about 50 mph it flashed a low battery alert then died within 2 minutes while driving. Thank god I was only a block from home and it was downhill. My van just had the battery replaced again and again won't start. This battery is 2 weeks old. I had turned off the auto start/stop as directed by my dealership and it continues to drain batteries. After doing research I found about 100 cases with the same issues. If I would have still be on the highway when it died I could have been hit. This has happened about a dozen or more times in the year and a half we have had the van. The first time the battery died was less than 2 months after purchasing the van. New battery was put in at request at purchase. Died after going maybe 20 miles an hour.

While I was driving down the road, with my children in the car, my power steering suddenly went out. It said, "power steering unavailable" on the dashboard. Thank god there was not a car waiting to turn on the road I turned onto because I probably would have crashed into them. It took all my might to turn the car onto the neighborhood street. Also sometimes the sliding doors to the van pick and choose when they want to open.
