It seems that after filling the van with fuel the engine wants to hesitate or stall completely. It has always restarted but runs rough for a few seconds after restarting. It always seems to happen after it is refueled. Mechanic did a tune up, reprogrammed the computer and still the same problem exists. It's dangerous as there is a significant loss of steering control. It has happened many times. Today my wife and daughter were in it getting ready to turn across two lanes of traffic and it stalled as they were making the turn.

The first time I come to a stop after filling the van with fuel the engine will die. It has always restarted but runs rough for a few seconds after restarting. It is related to the first stop after refueling whether it is a block away from the station or several miles before I stop. It's dangerous as there is a significant loss of steering control. It has happened many times.

Mechanical problems involving 2004 Chrysler Town and country. The vehicles malfunction indicator lamp illuminated while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and returned the next day. After driving the vehicle 10 miles the light illuminated again. The vehicle was returned to the dealer twice after the initial visit for the same problem. The vehicle also began to malfunction in other ways. The speedometer would indicator the incorrect speed. The engine made noise when the gear shift was moved. The engine vibrated when accelerating. The brakes malfunctioned. The air conditioning failed intermittently. The dealer has not been able to permanently resolve the problems.
