Only a Chrysler dealer can program the key and the car must be towed in to do so. One dealer is quoting a price of $352 for the key kit and $291 for labor (not including towing). The "cheaper" dealer wants $95 to run a test and $400-$500 for the wireless ignition node. Chrysler is the only one who can program the keys for the vehicle and the secondary garages and shops are not allowed to perform the repairs. Chrysler forces their customers to pay between $400 - $700 for a key is a complete rip-off.

This is very frustrating and there needs to be a recall for these vans this is outrageous!!! we have 3 soon to be 4 small children and this is just not safe, we can not even drive our van at night time due to the fear the headlights will not work. They will work for a day maybe 2 and then go back to not working. Please help!!!
