I had park the van so I could get some gas. I got out to paid for the gas and spoke to the attendant for a few minutes. Walking back to the van where I left it by the gas pump the van was rolling into a 2004 Ford Explorer. I couldn't believe what had happen. Well of course I call local police and I got a ticket and I wasn't in the van. This was a renter van, went the next day told them what had happen. The agent informed me that it would be taking in for service. Well here it is middle of Oct. And have not heard anything about why the van roll by itself. The only thing got was a bill and it is paid. Please look into this matter and see if you could solve this matter.

The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler Town and country. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number 14V234000 (electrical). The manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable time for repair. The dealer disconnected the driver door switch in June of 2014. However, the dealer advised that the manufacturer had not provided the new switch and they did not know when the part would become available. The vehicle did not experience the failure. We rented a 2014 Chrysler Town and country to drive to Florida with our 2 year old son. While driving 68 mph, my husband's knee hit the key, which turned the engine off as well as all power to the minivan. Luckily, traffic was light and we were able to coast over to the emergency lane without incident. The experience was extremely scary and unnerving. I am not looking forward to the return trip home due to this. The key being able to come loose is unacceptable and does not make one feel safe while driving. With all the ignition switch recalls, my mind is not as ease in this minivan and makes me fear for our safety. There should be a locking mechanism to prevent this from happening. I will not be recommending this vehicle to family and friends. This is by far one of the scariest things I've experienced.

When driving at 73mph on an interstate highway all instruments stopped working momentarily. All warning lights displayed, speedometer and tachometer stopped working and windshield wipers cycled on and off once.

From an half hour of picking up my car and getting it home I have had a severe safety problem to where the sliding door either doesn't close all the way or if it does it makes a clicking noise as if try to latch close. Called dealer right of way brought it back next day said the computer for door needed to be updated(really brand new car) worked while I was there got home later that day happened again dealer looked have to change module waited for part to come got it back still happening now dealer said latch needed to be adjusted so they did got it back still happening. Got a Chrysler case manager they are doing nothing all I asked was to switch car out so none of my kids fall out and get hurt or possibly die no one wants to help stuck with a defective vehicle for the next 3 years. Never again will I get Chrysler or recommend one. Hopefully no one falls out or they will be in a lot of trouble.

I rented a Town and country from enterprise. Drove 2,000 miles from pa to fl. On the way back while driving on the highway the ignition got disconnected briefly and came back after 1-2 seconds. At that time I didn't realize how dangerous it could be (we had no accident nor injury at all) but now I see that this could be linked to the GM ignition recall (does this vehicle have the same ignition supplier as GM?). please investigate the case as this may indicate that the ignition recall should also include some Chrysler vehicles as well.
