problem #20

Town & Country 6-cyl

  • 80,000 miles
I was driving on a side street at approximately 20mph when a very loud noise and impact to the back of my head happened. I swerved and slammed the brakes. After I was stopped, I put the vehicle in park to investigate the situation. My ahr (active head rest) had spontaneously deployed. I was not in an accident. The deployment struck the back of my head with such force that it sent me forward. I instantly got a headache and lasted for 3 days. Consumer stated her head "pops" if she is still for a long period of time and move forward/down.

When driving on the freeway in heavy traffic my headrest deployed and hit my head with such a force that my glasses fell down to the floor of the van.
