Brake engages. Engine: Not accelerating, strange sound. Just purshaced the car 1 month ago

Throttle body malfunction which caused vehicle to stop functioning while on 70 mph expressway. Vehicle was moved to the side of the roadway and shutdown. When restarted if functioned normally but, the dashboard light would intermittently come on. The vehicle fault codes indicated it was a throttle body issue. The throttle body was changed and corrected the issue. I disassembled the old throttle body and found the problem to be an internal plastic gear tooth failure. This is a non-serviceable safety related part and in my opinion should not fail at less than 80K miles. I asked fca to reimburse the cost of the part and they declined this request.

A few weeks ago I was turning and trying to accelerate when my electronic throttle control light went on. The car lost power but after I took my foot off the gas petal the light turned off and I got power back to the car. Took it to get the computer on but no codes came back. Tonight I was merging into the highway when etc the check engine and the ABS lights came on. The car lost power and I couldn't go faster then 50mph. I got back to the house turned the car off then back on and no lights are on. I'm not sure what to do. If the lights aren't on the computer won't pick up any error codes. Also my car already has a recall on the airbags. Is this an electrical problem?

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Avenger. The contact stated that there were several failures that progressed, such as the front passenger side door handle fractured. The dealer replaced the door handle. The brake system was serviced several times and, while driving, the vehicle overheated and was pulled into a refueling station. The contact looked under the hood and noticed that the hose fractured from the radiator. The vehicle was unable to be driven due to the failures and had to be towed to a dealer. The dealer (kendall Dodge, 786-231-2120, 13355 137th ave, miami, fl 33186) was notified of the failure. The contact was uncertain as to when the vehicle would be repaired. In addition, the contact received notification of a manufacturer's recall more than two years ago. The remedy and part were not available to receive the repair within a reasonable time frame for NHTSA campaign number: 16V668000 (air bags and seat belts). The manufacturer was notified of the failures and the contact was waiting to determine when the recall repair would be completed. The failure mileage was not available. Parts distribution disconnect.

While driving my car on the city street it began to overheat. I looked under the hood and discovered the hose connecting to the thermostat had fallen off. I then noticed the filler neck made of plastic had crumbled apart causing the hose to fall off which caused vehicle to overheat. Replaced the the filler neck and hoses and car is still over heating. I am having an estimate done on the vehicle tomorrow 9/12/2017. Once I have the estimate I will upload the paperwork.

Vehicle losing all power suddenly while driving could have caused a fatal accident and should be addressed why no warning was given as to any issues the vehicle may have been experiencing.

As I was driving my 2013 Dodge Avenger on the turnpike at speed of 75mph my red warning light that looks like a lightning bolt came on along with the check engine and traction warning lights. One year later noticed when vehicle is in motion beyond 50mph engine will hesitate- feels like it will shut off. Similar situation when idling. Two years later steering makes lots of noise. None of these concerns have been addressed when brought to staff's attention at Dodge dealership. Dodge requests I pay $107+ for a diagnostic test. Not happy with this purchase more so because I am mother to a three year old and expecting...I feel very unsafe in this car.

I bought this vehicle on 11-04-2015. After just one day the check engine light came on & obd2 scan revealed air leak in fuel system. New gas cap installed & check engine light continues to stay on. Letter from congresswoman slaughter on behalf of constituent re defective 2013 Dodge Avenger. The consumer state six months after buying the vehicle, all four of the brakes seized. Then, one year and six month later, the engine head failed and had to be replaced. Seven months later, the check engine light illuminated. The engine leaked oil into the transmission and the transmission had to be replaced.
