Vehicle started stalling last winter after remote start thought it was remote start acting up but now it started stalling randomly at idle and turning now it has stalled driving down the road and sometimes will not restart right away, it is scheduled to have an oil change in 4 days so I started searching why it would be stalling and read about excessive oil consumption. I just checked my oil and it is barely reading on dipstick. This is bs there is no way it should be consuming this much oil between oil changes. I bought it brand new and it only has 33,000 miles on it.

My 2015 Dodge Dart engine randomly shuts off when I drive it, I've brung it to multiple repair shops and they have all said that my car is fine no codes shows up on diagnostic. This is a major safety issue if no auto shop knows what's to do and is keep saying my engine is fine when obviously it isn't if it keeps on randomly shutting down in the middle of the street.

Consumption of oil. When oil is changed, I have to replenish oil at around 63-67% useage on several occasions until next oil change. There was previous leak repaired..no leaks but still burning oil. Also, sometimes when stopped then start excelerating, experience hesitation and a rattling or pinging sound. Also happens when I slow down turning at corner then excelerate. This has happened since I purchased over 1 1/2 years ago.

I started my vehicle this morning and it started rough and was surging. At takeoff the vehicle was driving strangly. Slowed to make a uturn, turned to the left slightly and my steering wheel locked, car shut down and was barely able to brake to slow down. I almost ran a man over trying to stop as I could not steer. The battery symbol popped up on the dash. I popped car in park. Removed key. Restarted vehicle and it took a good 5-10 seconds before turning over. There was hesitation upon start. After beginning to drive it seemed to be driving normally..this seems to be a bit of a ticking time bomb and a very large safety issue and seems to be a known issue across all models

Car has stalled twice when making stop and beginning to turn left on city street. Would not start first time. Restarted after a few minutes. Called aaa and replaced battery (it tested slightly weak, alternator was strong). Next day, stalled again turning left on city street. Started about a minute later. Updated 11/29/18 the consumer stated dealer advised the engine was known to consume oil. There was no known repair or recall. The dealer suggested to check the oil every 500 miles and be charged a diagnostic fee each visit.

I have had issues since the day I bought the car. I have 26,000 miles and am on my third set of tires. The dealer tells me that they do not feel anything is wrong yet the tires keep wearing out and one recently had a bulge, I complained of a whirling sound and they told me it was the tires, I replaced the tires and it is still there. I keep taking the car in and it is one excuse after another. I report the issues to Dodge and they tell me to go to the dealer. A mechanic at the dealer told me that the car runs like a tractor trailer, it is idling at 2,000 RPM in park when it should be 900 or less and it sounds like there is an issue in the rear end and engine mount issues. I'm afraid the car will fall apart while I'm driving it. I need someone to help me get Dodge to figure out what the issues are. They had the audacity to tell me my driving habits are the reason I need tires every 10,000 miles. I have a camaro that I drive like a bat out of hell and got my first set of tires at 50,000 miles. Something is wrong with this car and no one at Dodge will help. Will it take me getting killed for someone to do something??

The car just will randomly stall. No indication it is going to do this. This car is unsafe. I am to the point I hate driving it. I took it to shop and everyone says nothing is wrong with it. This has happened multiple times. I have only owned the car since 5/19

The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Dart. While driving various speeds, the engine made a knocking sound and the vehicle operated roughly, jerked, hesitated, and did not immediately respond when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The vehicle was taken to a local unknown dealer where it was diagnosed that the vehicle was low on oil, although the contact stated that the vehicle was routinely taken to in for oil changes. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 500.

I purchased my 2015 Dart new from the dealership. Since 7/2017, the car has stalled out in the middle of driving and left me stranded on 3 separate instances. The battery light comes up on the dash after the car stalls out but there is no warning before that. The car does not restart and has to be left for 5-10 minutes before it will turn over. Even then you can only drive it until you push the brake again and it stalls out. The dealership insists that this is normal for the Dart and that it burns more oil than other vehicles. Every time this occurs, there is not a drop of oil in the car. When it happened today, there are less than 5,000 miles on the car since the last oil change and it has been less than 3 months since the last oil change. The last two times this has happened, I have nearly gotten hit because the engine just shuts down without warning.

I purchased a 2015 Dodge Dart 3/19/18 from a dealership. I just had the oil change done which was recommended. The car just recently started to stall while driving. No warning lights went on. We checked the battery (which was a year old) and the alternator and they were fine. I went to auto zone to check it out. I called the dealership I bought it at and they said it could be a number of things. Never did they mention the oil being the issue. I get a call from the dealership that the because the oil was low the car will stale to protect the engine. First of all, it's a safety hazard if this can randomly stall, and second no lights came on for the warning. The cars meters showed that the oil quality was at 85% and good. This is very dangerous. I checked the owners manual and there is nothing that pertains to this car stalling.

Vehicle is burning oil way to fast. I get my oil changes frequently and have to keep a big bottle in the car as extra. The vehicle can be driving and just completely shut off in motion. When I add more oil that car cuts back on. I don't have any oil spots when I park my vehicle so I have no clue where the oil is going. No check engine lights are on. I take it to the shop and they don't know what the issue is. This is an issue I had since I purchased the vehicle. I'm completely overwhelmed with how dangerous this car is. This problem is still current til this day 6/6/2018.
