For the past 4 months I've had this same issue. My car turns off while driving I've filed several complaints. The dealership was unable to figure out what was wrong with the car. The reprogrammed the tcm and PCM and that seemed to have fixed the problem up until today, 09/16/2018. I got down the street and my car shut off again while turning onto a busy street. I was almost side swiped and this isn't the first time I was almost in an accident as a result of this.

The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Dart. While driving various speeds or while in stop and go traffic, the vehicle suddenly jerked. The contact stated that the vehicle was equipped with an auto stick option, which meant the vehicle could be driven in automatic or manual mode. When the vehicle was placed in automatic mode, it jerked and shifted gears as if it were in manual mode. When attempting to warm up the vehicle in cold weather, the vehicle would idle at 1,500 to 2,000 rpms for approximately 10-20 minutes. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who was not able to identify the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
