This wouldn't have been so frustrating if the stupid manufacturer (Dodge) would have programmed the computer my mechanic found... but no they gave some excuse that it has to be purchased through them so…they want you to spend even more for the same damn thing!!! Only a couple hundred, no biggie.

My Dodge Durango has just developed a problem of shutting down at any time without warning. I can be on a side street or on the freeway (this could be a dangerous situation). I am not sure if this is an electrical problem or fuel system problem. I am assuming it is electrical because I lose all the dash instruments.

vehicle shuts down without warning, the words "no bus" is displayed where the odometer readings are, after setting for about 45 minutes vehicle will start and run until the next time it decides to quit. Had it towed to a local shop and they had it for about four days and replaced a componant and charged me 598.00. we took the car out for the weekend to the mountains of colorado and it quit leaving us stranded in the back country for about 2 hours then it started again and we got the hell back to town dropped it off at the mechanics shop and it has been there over a week and they still can't find the problem. this is the fifth time it has quit in a month. it seems like a electrical componant is getting hot and the points stick and as soon as it cools off they open and allows the current to flow again.. its downright irritating
