The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Durango. The contact stated when adding fuel it would spill all over the vehicle. The fuel spill also caused the check engine light to illuminate. The NHTSA recall campaign id number: 09V003000, fuel system, gasoline: Storage: Tank assembly was related to the failure; however, the dealer stated the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and confirmed that his VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 70,000.

Fuel will spray out when fueling is completed. I had the recall accomplished back in 2006, but this recall did not resolve the issue and my vehicle continues to spray fuel after every fill up. Another recall needs to be issued.

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that whenever the fuel tank was filled with gasoline, fuel would spray back out from the filler neck. The vehicle was not diagnosed and or repaired. The current mileage was 76,000 and the failure mileage was 70,000.
