When filling the vehicle with gas, when the pump clicks off gas then overflows out of the tank and onto the ground. This is the same problem as covered in recall # 05V460000 but the VIN on the vehicle is not included. There is also an ongoing defect investigation with NHTSA action # RQ08005.

Gas tank spurts gas at me when filling as tank is full just before the nozzle clicks off, gas spills down the side of car and onto the ground every time the vehicle is filled up. Has been happening for 1 year.

2005 Dodge Durango. Whenever the contact fills the gas tank, gasoline sprays out of the tank. The gas nozzle stops when the tank was full, but gasoline still sprayed out of the tank. And all over the floor.

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Durango. While the contact was attempting to fill the gas tank, he noticed that fuel began to pour out of the gas tank once it became full. There was no indication that the tank was full before the gasoline began to pour out. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that the filler neck needed to be replaced. The current and failure mileages were 41,200.

Dies on deceleration mostly while turning at slow speeds.

The vehicle stalled intermittently. The problem occurred at least three time per week while driving at low speeds or while idling at a stop light/sign. The RPM gauge goes up then falls to 0, and car dies. Service dealer stated they can not duplicate the problem and suggested that the consumer use a higher octane gas. They also suggested that vehicle may have bad gasoline, and it is working its way through the system.

I have an 05 hemi Durango limited with 3,300 miles on it. Since new the vehicle has occassionally died when making low speed turns. The dealer has informed me that the PCM flash provided by Dodge has not corrected the problem and they are still working on a fix. Overall the vehicle has stalled five times. I have also filed a similar complaint for my 05 Ram 2500 with the hemi engine.
