My firm represents several passengers and the personal representatives of the estates of two decedent who were killed when a 2005 Dodge Durango lost steering control on the Florida turnpike. The vehicle is a rental vehicle from dollar rental car. It may be a case where the bolts in the steering were missing, but is yet to be determined. Please call 1-800-801-9399 and ask for don hardeman. He has placed a "legal hold" on this vehicle and he is aware of the location of the vehicle. The vehicle number is 8136354. Please ask him for the location of the vehicle for inspection. NHTSA action number : PE05056.

The vehicle is making popping noise when turning. I traded my 2003 Caravan in for the Durango because it was making the same noise that my new Durango is making and the dealerships (2 different ones) could not find or fix the problem. Now the Durango is making the noise and the dealerships cant fix it. I called Chrysler and all they could suggested was to take it to a different dealership. If that's all they can do then I will file lemon law after the fourth trip to the dealership and will never buy another Dodge/Chrysler vehicle...
