The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Durango. The contact observed an excessive amount of fuel spillage from the fuel tank. The failure occurred whenever fuel was dispensed into the fuel tank, followed by fuel spraying out of the tank. The fuel nozzle stopped when the tank was full with fuel continuously spraying out of the tank. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer; however, the part was unavailable at the time. Currently, the vehicle is in the process of being repaired. The failure mileage was unknown. Updated 3/10/10 updated 05/17/10

When fueling 2006 Dodge Durango, fuel erupts out of fuel tank filler when tank fills completely. This is identical to recall 05V034000 but does not include 2006 model year.
