Rear taillight led bar went out after water entered the light bar through small openings and defective weather stripping. The lights on the Durango are not sealed good enough to prevent water from entering. The light and the rear camera stopped working for the same reason. This is a defect that originated during production and can cause an accident. The consumer should not be responsible for replacing these parts every couple months because of water damage

Drivers seat active headrest internal plastic parts failed and deployed the headrest and hit my wife in the back of the head while driving. Just purchased a 2014 Dodge Durango limited. Had it one week and a portion of the race track lighting on the rear of the vehicle has went out. It appears water has gotten into the lighting housing. This appears to be a major issue with that lighting system, as complaints are all over the internet about it. Problem now is eventually it will short out the entire backend lights including the running lights and brake lights creating a major safety issue. To replace the part is over $1,000 which makes it difficult for the consumer to fix. Its not acceptable that this part is failing so quickly on Dodge products with that style lighting and isn't an affordable fix. I am concerned driving my vehicle since I have no idea when it will completely short out. Dodge should fix the problem that is causing the lighting to accumulate water and short out. A few defective lights is understandable but the amount of people complaining about having the same problems shows it really needs recalled.

The ac in our car just stopped working. We went to an independent car repair shop to find out that the ac compressor works and that there are 100% no leaks in the system. Can't find the issue even tho we went there twice. They told us that it turns on just fine and wants to work but doesn't blow cold air.

A police officer was backing into a parking spot when the driver side headrest popped open and struck him in the face. The headrest is designed to open on impacts to reduce whiplash and no collision had occurred nor was there any existing damage to warrant this device actuating. Chrysler was notified due to this expense not being covered under warranty and expressed no concern or culpability regarding this issue.

Rear backup lamp light bar assembly is leaking water. Water visibly observed in light bar and causing led's to fade. Had it resealed by dealership continued to leak and now light bar has completely failed and no longer turns on, this is a major safety concern as well due to license plate light no longer functioning as well. Vehicle is scheduled to go in for repairs regarding a failed light bar and safety issue.

I pulled into the driveway, placed the car in park, left the vehicle running, and went into the house. I was inside the house less than 10 minutes when a neighbor knocked on the door stating a vehicle crashed into her house. We immediately turned the vehicle off to prevent any other damage to the house. We contacted the police dept for a report. Once the report was completed by police, a tow truck was contacted to remove the vehicle. When the vehicle was turned on to engage the transmission, the officers found the transmission was in the parked status. We believe the vehicle rolled into the neighboring house even though the car was in park. Dodge has been contacted and an investigation has been requested to validate the mechanical integrity of the vehicle.

Vehicle on board control panel constantly malfunctions, with the screen going black after ignition. System will remain inaccessible for prolonged period of time and will increase air temp to 75 degrees, with no way to stop or change air output. On board/uconnect connectivity continuously lost with no phone/communication access available (I.e., center light on rear view will be red most times). Have taken vehicle to multiple Dodge dealerships for repair, but repair shops claim to be unable to find a problem. Problem began after first system update.

I have 2 active recalls on this vehicle, they are T59, brake booster water shield may have been incorrectly installed, and P67, occupant restraint control (orc) module may develop an internal fault. I have 1 active campaign on this vehicle, it is U06, autopark functionality. I just purchased this vehicle on June 23rd, 2018 at performance Dodge la vista, Nebraska. I was informed by the performance Dodge la vista, Nebraska service department that the recalls were performed, and not reported, due to lack of personnel in the recalls reporting department. Meanwhile, I drive a new/used vehicle, wondering if the dealership actually addressed the open recalls, and campaign on my vehicle, with my safety at risk. This is highly unacceptable, it is now September 16th, 2018, and the recalls, and campaign are still outstanding on my vehicle. I am looking to you for assistance in this matter. I am also worried if the work was not actually completed, and just reported as complete by the dealership, the thought of this is frightening, again, since my safety, and that of my family, is at risk when operating this vehicle. Thank you for listening, and I hope to hear from you regarding a resolution to this matter soon. Good day, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
