Part Description: CARPET ASSY - FLOOR
Issue
Description:
Do not replace Carpet due to exposed floor pan or carpet white backing along the Sill or B-Pillar Trim. Please rake (rub) a plastic or non-abrasive tool (e.g. credit card edge) to relax the carpet backing and fibers such that fibers stand up and the carpet backing is no longer exposed. Replace Carpet if backing is still visible.
Do not replace Carpet that exhibits bulging or intrusion into front passenger footwell.
Please assess and reposition Carpet to flush position. If Carpet repositioning is difficult, remove Kick Panel and maneuver Wire Harness as necessary.
