The headlights cut off while we were traveling 55 mph at night. They would work only if I held the bright light switch all the way pulled back (I tried almost everything known to man). I looked on the internet and found several complaints and quick fixes. One was to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes, did not work. The one that worked was to hit, shake or jiggle the black box (tipm) under the hood on drivers side. Bingo, it worked for about 3 weeks, did it again, 3 weeks later had to do it again. Now the lights will not work while holding the dim/bright switch. The lights came back on the next day. Took it to the dealer and paid $98 to them only to tell me it was the tipm module and needed replacing for a fee of $1100 and it might not fix it due to being a faulty tipm part. I paid extra for extended bumper to bumper coverage supposedly covering everything only to find out, it doesnt cover the tipm module. I cant afford the repair right now so hopefully it wont go out when driving on busy highway at night. Btw, this van is on the 3rd battery, probably due from the faulty tipm module (electrical system). The door locks work most of the time but not all the time. The fob recall was said to fix that problem. The interior lights come on randomly. Headlights go off while driving down the road at night.

I have been calling about getting the ignition repaired and fob's replaced for almost 4 months. I keep being told that I am on the list to have it fixed. I have not been told where I am on the list or given anytime frame. I have been told that the dealer ship is only getting one or two kits at a time. It has not gone into the off position yet, but the fob is broken due to the first recall for this problem.

My tipm module is defective in my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan, only 31 are available in the nation and of the dealers that do have them either 1 they tested the module and it is defective or 2 they won't sell it because they are on backorder! please recall this problem! it clearly is an issue and now my wife has a car that does not run and with three kids, one car is making our lives very difficult! even the parts dept. In the dealers I've talked with who have dealt with the issue, even they know it's a part problem and say Chrysler isn't helping them solve the problem. One woman told me that a customer had a problem and after ordering two tipm modules, they couldn't get one that worked and had to send the customer away until they could get one in, but there aren't any available to order... please recall 2010 Caravan and all other models that are having this issue! at least I could get Dodge to give me a loaner until the problem gets fixed, I can't afford to rent a family car at 40 dollars a day!

Car shut down completely twice while driving 20-25 mph in city street.received recall R03/NHTSA 14V-373 in June and went to dealer immediately. Parts were ordered and still till now dealer says parts are not ready.it is going to be 4 months for a simple repair for a dangerous problem. If the car stopped suddenly twice, it will stop again and 4 months is not an acceptable time for repair.
