Vehicle won't start on first try. After first try lighting bolt warning light comes on and car idles rough. I turn vehicle off wait for about 2 min. Then retry to start vehicle. Vehicle starts up and light does not come on. For the rest of the day the car starts and runs ok. Once the car sits overnight and I go to start it the same thing happens. I called Dodge and was told that lighting bolt is the electrical throttle control. I went on line and a lot of people are having this same problem with their Dodge vehicle. Why hasn't there been an recall regarding this problem" are they waiting for some tragic accidents first, then lawsuits" Dodge told me the cost to fix would be $400-$600. I just bought this vehicle in may of 2014, Dodge should stand by their product and fix this for free. This is a Dodge product failure and nothing that I did wrong. Throttle body problems is not covered under my extended warranty, even if it was Dodge should do a recall and fix this problem.

Glove box illumination light stays on. The switch does work when depressed by hand, however, the glove box does not sit high enough when latched to depress the shutoff switch far enough to turn off the light. Attempted several fixes such as an empty glove box to no avail. The only temporary solution is closing the glove box with an object between the switch and the glove box to shut off the light. The light had been illuminated for a very long time when I noticed it, and with the light being an incandescent it was very hot. Likely to start a fire if a user stores napkins or other paper products in the glove box and they reach the light area, which can be reached by hand with the box open. The only indicator that the light is on while the glove box is closed is a small dim light visible through the passenger side vent.

Existing problem ~doors will not unlock.sometimes I cannot get in my vehicle, then sometimes the persons in back seat cannot get out. There is no pattern it may work for a week day or month then start messing up again. This to me could be a safety issue because I carry my grandmother, mother and granddaughter in my vehicle on a regular basis. Also when I go to work it is dark outside and I feel like I need to get into my car then not have to wait and hope it unlocks. My car has been to the dealership 2 times getting ready to go back for a 3rd trip.

I could not set the cruise control without hitting the steering wheel. Once I got the cruise control set to 75 mph I could not get it to turn off. I hit the brakes 5 times before it would decelerate. Once the cruise control turned off there was a sudden hard shift on the engine and a loud knocking sound.
