It's too bad that when you mention a 1998 to 2002 dodge ram of any size that the first thing mentioned is a cracked dash and Dodge evidently won't do anything about it.

The dash is falling apart,I have a real nice looking truck until you look through the windshield it is embarASSing . Also I have taken my truck to 5 mechanic and two dealers to fix the oil seal on my differential no one has a socket that fits it must be a secret heck they don't even know what size it is also being a dodge man for many years I am realy not happy with chrysler service. And will think hard on my next purchase.

I have a 01 Dodge Ram 3500. It has been nothing but a high dollar lemon. Most recently my dash is cracked in many different places. It is starting to drop down into the truck.

My truck is great, real powerhouse, but I believe Chrysler should step up and provide a recall as there are way too many widespread complaints about the same model vehicles. The truck looks like brand new except for the cracks in the dash and the broken spedo bezel. The execs at Chrysler have to know this is a defect in workmanship, come on, we are not stupid. Look on the internet for the vast number of complaints and all the same year model. I would like for someone to step up and say "yup we messed up" and the dashes are bad, if nothing else at least admit there is a problem.
