My truck is great, real powerhouse, but I believe Chrysler should step up and provide a recall as there are way too many widespread complaints about the same model vehicles. The truck looks like brand new except for the cracks in the dash and the broken spedo bezel. The execs at Chrysler have to know this is a defect in workmanship, come on, we are not stupid. Look on the internet for the vast number of complaints and all the same year model. I would like for someone to step up and say "yup we messed up" and the dashes are bad, if nothing else at least admit there is a problem.

It's too bad that when you mention a 1998 to 2002 dodge ram of any size that the first thing mentioned is a cracked dash and Dodge evidently won't do anything about it.

I have a 01 Dodge Ram 3500. It has been nothing but a high dollar lemon. Most recently my dash is cracked in many different places. It is starting to drop down into the truck.
