Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements
This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest software.
Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble
Codes (DTCs) have been set:P0703 - Brake Switch 2 Performance.
U0418 - Invalid Data Received From Brake System Control Module.
P0128-00 - Thermostat Rationality.
P1185-00 - General Pressure Sensor Correlation.
U1504-00 - Implausible Message Data Length Received From Steering Angle Sensor.
In addition, the following software updates are available:Enhancements which allows the catalytic convertor to operate cooler.
Change to reduce pressure fluctuations within the multi-air solenoid.
