Some 2023 Bronco Sport vehicles which require replacement of the SCCM may experience an error message when performing the programmable module installation (PMI) of the replacement SCCM with the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) which states "Procedure Aborted. Unable To Download Software Files For This Module." This may be due to an incorrect replacement SCCM being installed. Make sure the correct module assembly has been installed before contacting the technical assistance center. To help determine what SCCM has been installed from the factory using FDRS, start a vehicle session and go to: Vehicle Information tab > Vehicle Info tab > find the SCCM in the module list. Review the SCCM in FDRS for 'Engineering Assembly P/N'. Vehicles with PB5T-3F944-RA should order service part PB5Z-3F791-RA. Vehicles with PB5T-3F944-PA should order service part PB5Z-3F791-PA and vehicles with PB5T-3F944-NA should order service part PB5Z-3F791-NA.
