Summary
Some 2018 EcoSport vehicles equipped with a 1.5L Duratorq-TDCi engine may exhibit issues when attempting to complete a programmable module installation (PMI) on the PCM. This may be due to software issues on the current version of the Ford scan tool. Make sure that the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool is installed before attempting this procedure.
