Some 2018 Edge and MKX vehicles built on or before 28-Feb-2018, may exhibit a concern of the liftgate ajar message remains on with the liftgate fully closed. The customer may also complain of an intermittent alarm activation. This may be due to a broken switch inside of the liftgate latch. Replace the liftgate latch.
