Summary
Certain 2022 Model Year Multiple Vehicle Lines Equipped with 8F35 Transmissions Transmission Replacement In all of the affected vehicles, the snap ring that is used to hold the 8F35 transmission clutch compression spring engaged was not fully seated in the assembly process. When the snap ring is not fully seated, the transmission will function as if the C clutch is partially engaged. The customer may experience rough shifts until the transmission can adapt to the clutch performance. There is a potential long term durability concern associated with the compromised function of the clutch.
