coolant temperature gauge incorrectly showed overheating

This error occurred after I was running the interior cabin heat while in electric only mode as it is a PHEV. Online on forums there are similar complaints. Will be taking to dealer soon to troubleshoot issue as a check ending light is on and secondary coolant error is being called out on Ford pass app.

Update from Mar 8, 2023: There was a TSB for the issue that occurred and they reprogramed all of the computer modules. The repaid took about a day and ford reimbursed me for the rental while the repair took place. Unhappy that it happened but it worked out fine and Ford took care of me throughout the process.
