Driving home I started to hear and feel this noise on my engine like a clicking/grounting sound. I could hear it more when making turnes and when slowing down. Next day I got on my truck and when in reverse my truck would't let me because it looks like the front tires are locked. And can only go forward. The transmission does not go in reverse, transmission shift lever sequence starter interlock, and transmission braking effect. Transmission range sensor (trs) that was calibrated out of specification for reverse gear.

We were driving down the highway at 10:30pm going 55mph. All of a sudden, we heard a very loud bang that almost caused me to run off the road, thankfully I didn't. I pulled over to investigate and there was nothing wrong until I looked at the back glass. The back glass on the passenger side was completely shattered. Out of no where. Mind you, there was nothing wrong with this prior. I haven't even had this truck for thirty days yet and this happened. I was especially worried because my 4year old daughter was in the back seat, on the passenger side. She could have been seriously injured due to this.

I was driving on the highway I 95 and it was raining. My windows started to fog up. I turned on the defrosts. I heard a loud pop and my rear window shattered. In researching the problem on the internet, it appears it is a common problem on 10-14 F150's when turning on the rear defrost.

Truck locked up on me on the highway doing 70+ mph & caused me to spin out & wreck. It's a recall for that issue that Ford will not fix for me because of mileage. Terrible customer service & endangered my life & others that day for a issue that they're responsible for.

The rear defrost had been acting up not wanting to work every time I'd try and use it for the last 2 months. Well on the morning of November 7 I went to warm my truck up and tried my defrost and it didn't light up so I figured well its not working. So as I'm driving down the road I notice that my back glass was completely shattered on the drivers side of the back glass. I never heard anything break and there was no other sign of impact. Just out of nowhere. So I did some research into Ford F150S and back glass breaks and came across a lot of reports of people who were in fact having defrost issues.. so my best guess is the electrical in the heated glass shorted out or sent a massive power surge through the glass causing it to shatter.. either way this is a recall issue that Ford should be held responsible for.

On 2 occasions (in the last 2 weeks) while driving my Ford 150 (2011) (on the freeway about 50mph) I suddenly felt like I was rear-ended and my head went backwards on the head rest. I looked in the rear view mirror expecting to see a vehicle who had hit me, but there was none. On Oct 3, 2019, the same thing happened (was driving about 30mph) and I once again looked in the rear view mirror to see if there was a car that hit me, there wasn't. also after the 2nd incident the wrench warning light came on briefly, went off, and the speedometer went to zero, even though I was probably driving 30 miles an hour. I pulled the truck over, turned off the engine and when I restarted it, the speedometer worked again. I honestly feel this is a recall issue that may be related to the power train (that is what the wrench warning light indicates). Both of these incidents were very frightening because I thought I had been hit from behind, but that was not the case, rather there was some sort of mechanical failure in this vehicle. I called usaa to file a claim, but they said mechanical failure is not covered. On Oct 4th I took the truck to bickford Ford (in snohomish, wa, where I bought it) and left it there. The shop said they might not be able to fix it for 3 weeks because they're very backed up. I will need to purchase a rental car. I went online to search for Ford 150 (2011) issues and there was a complaint dated June 15, 2011 that describes the exact same thing that I experienced ("feeling like you're hit from behind causing you to slam your head and body on the seat"). please please look into this, in my heart I know this must be a recall issue!

I purchased the vehicle on 07/30/19. On or around 08/01/19 the vehicle was jerking and the check engine light came on, so I notified both salesmen at the dealership immediately by text message and photos. Chris indicated that the truck needs an oil change. So I had the oil change done immediately after the text message. Two or three days later, the truck jerked again. I called chris and informed him that the truck was jerking again. Chris indicated I take it to have it checked with an odb2. The truck obd2 indicated that the truck had a problem with camshaft sensors. From the parts store I drove to the dealership and showed the results of the obd2. Chris indicated that he would discuss the issue with jesse to see if they could help get this problem resolved. Within two to three days I returned to the dealership that jesse could test drive the truck. When jesse test drove the truck, it did not jerk and the check engine light was off. Jesse indicated that he and the dealership could not help me because there was no evidence or codes to indicate there was an problem with the truck. Jesse, chris and pete the mechanic indicated that the truck would be safe to drive. On or around the 08/20/19 I was in the hospital and my husband, jose, indicated that the truck was jerking. On or around 08/26/19 I personally went to the dealership and spoke to chris and let him know the truck was still jerking. Chris indicated that he would speak to jesse. That same afternoon, I received a text message from chris. He indicated that they could offer labor and parts to fix the truck. But then continues the text indicating that it would cost me $200. I went personally to the dealership and indicated to jesse and chris that this was unacceptable because the truck began jerking two days after the day of purchase. I need this resolved. Please help.

I am an owner of a Ford F-150 platinum. The VIN is (xxxxx). I received a notice of a recall with fix for my pickup last year. I took my pickup with the notice that I had received in the mail to our local Ford dealership, baugh Ford in clanton, Alabama. I had an appointment with the local dealership on or around September 5, 2018 to resolve this issue. Prior to this repair, I had not noticed or experienced any problems with the transmission. However, following the repair, I noticed the transmission slipping or for lack of a better term forgetting what gear it was in. This seemed to happen while traveling slowly as in a parking lot, then letting off of the accelerator. As soon as the accelerator was depressed there was a brief pause followed by a loud metal to metal pop and jolt as if someone had hit the rear of the vehicle. This occurred infrequently and I could not make this happen, not reproduceable. This occurred approximately six times since September last. On June 15, 2019, while traveling on interstate I-65 North just North of montgomery, Alabama at highway speed, I noticed the transmission seemed to momentarily slip or go into neutral. The gear selector was still in drive position and remained in that position through out this incident. Then it seemed as if the transmission started shifting gears. At some point the rear tires locked and the vehicle veered to the right and I and the truck abruptly left the interstate. I went down a steep embankment. I finally managed to stop my vehicle, without hitting any other vehicle or highway signage, near a secondary road. I then moved the gear selector from drive into the park position and then back to the drive position and drove a short distance to a safer location. I exited my vehicle and walked around and looked underneath the vehicle. Additionally, there no warning lights, no error/malfunction codes. We had a March snow storm on 3-18-19 and temperatures were below freezing. I had turned on my rear window defrost and was on my way to work driving on a neighborhood street when I heard a loud pop sound. I pulled over to the side of the road and found that one of my rear windows had shattered. This is a window with the defrosting element in it. After inspecting the window I found that there was no sign of any impact to the window. As shown in the attached pictures. The window just shattered on its own. Was appears that this was caused by thermal expansion from the heated defroster.

Was in parking lot and started vehicle. Put in drive and started to move. Heard loud pop sound. Stopped and got out to look over vehicle. Found the passenger side rear window had spontaneously shattered. There was no previous defect in the window. The rear window is a three part slider with defrost. Ford service does not know why the window would have shattered and will not cover cost of replacement. At this time the window has not yet been repaired. Understand Ford has issues with this happening and will not cover under a possible recall. It may have been caused by the defrost system in window.
