When pulling out of a parking lot the instrument cluster lcd goes black, assisted power steering stops working making it hard to steer. Then after a few seconds comes back on and steering rapidly corrects to current position. So far has mostly happened during the first few minutes after running. So far this has only happened once while driving on the highway during a straight stretch.

Vehicle was suddenly and abruptly slowing down, sometimes while on the highway. I took vehicle to repair shop, was told the transmission output sensor needed to be replaced, the part was on national back order due to a recall. According to my VIN, my vehicle is not affected by recall, however I have the same make and model with the same issues. The truck has not been driveable for over 3 months and I cannot get it fixed.

I have had problems with my transmission. It will slip from 1st to 5th when starting out. It would only work if I put it in manual mode. While in manual modeeverything on my dash went blank and quit working. I had nothing to go by not even my speedometer. Also it slipped from 5th to 1st while driving down the highway causing it to lock up and my wife hit me from behind. I took it to world of Ford in pensacola. They told me about 2 recalls. 16S19,16N02, NHTSA recall 16V248. My truck has been there for over 10days and they said there is no timeframe on when it will be fixed. I have a pregnant wife and a job and now I'm out of my vehicles. The manager at world of Ford frank told me to drive it away from his shop that they weren't going to fix it. I can't drive the truck by it's dangerous. I do have his conversation recorded by he was telling me to drive the truck away after it locked up on me. Now I'm trying other sources to see what I need to do. Anything would help. I can't afford 40$ a day for a rental. Especially since I feel like it's a Ford issue not anything I did. ## VIN passed ## Ford F-150 2011 ##

Tuned on my rear defroster and light did not come on. I pressed it a couple more times and nothing. About 10 minutes later when I was getting gas in my local city in Alabama, it sounded like a gunshot went off. I look and the passenger side rear window panel has shattered. I did some research online and file hundreds of similar complaints due to a fault rear defroster. Ford is willing to do nothing about it, leaving customers with the expensive bill. This should be a safety issue.

  • 32,000 miles
After auto starting my truck on the morning of December 14 2016. Upon departing my house, I heard a loud popping noise. However I was not able to verify where it came from until I arrived at my destination. I noticed a pattern on my sliding rear window on the drivers side. Upon further investigation I discovered the window was shattered all though it was still in one piece. While researching methods of repair I discovered that this has happened over 70 times.in previous complaints it has been said that this could possibly be attributed to faulty construction or an electrical system failure that could cause a fire. I feel this is a driving hazard for both driver and occupants due to the possibility of minute glass fragments getting in eyes and causing injury and possibly a fatal accident. Therefore I feel that an immediate recall is necessary. People have lodged complaints since 2010 until present. Injury would occur if the window was to blow out causing injury or accident to other vehicles or persons following mine or others vehicles (motorcyclist).

Niw one week later, vehicle bucks and jerks on highway.have found many complaints and say it's condensation in inter cooler system.Ford claims no knowledge of this problem or repairs other things and problem persists. I was driving my 2011 Ford F150 platinum on a dark chilly morning, the windows and outside mirrors were fogged so I had the rear defroster turned on. I heard a loud noise that I thought was a gunshot. I later noticed that the right side of the rear window was completely shattered. This glass was in place but cracked into thousands of pieces. I called Ford and they said that they had no information on this problem, the vehicle was out of warranty at 75000 miles so they would offer no assistance. I see that there are numerous other complaints for the exact same issue. This is obviously an manufacturing defect and should be corrected before this causes a serious incident.

I was sitting in a fast food line waiting to place order. The truck was running and my right foot was on the brake. (I am a one foot driver.)the truck began to inch forward. I pressed on the brake and the engine began to accelerate. I pressed hard on the brake and the rear wheels began to spin. I slammed the gear shift into park and cut the engine off. I re-started the engine and was able to pull the truck out of the line. After re-starting the engine a couple more times I was able to drive the truck home. This occurred on October 14, 2016. I parked the truck and called my local Ford dealer. He said I needed to bring it in. I needed to move the truck in the mean time and it did it again. The truck accelerated with my foot on the brake. The Ford dealership couldn't get the truck to repeat the problem. They talked to the Ford regional manager and I was to bring the truck back when they had a service rep available to fully check it out. I chose to leave the truck at the dealership rather than risk driving it. The dealership kept the vehicle for almost two weeks, said they drove it 273 miles and couldn't get the problem to repeat. And if they couldn't get it to repeat the problem they couldn't help. The Ford regional manager said the same thing. I have a lot more notes but they pretty much say the same thing. Can you help me" I am concerned about driving the vehicle without it being repaired. Isn't there a class action lawsuit about Ford trucks doing the same or a similar thing" please let me know.
