Washer fluid freezing within the line between the bottle and spray nozzle. Although we are using what is rated as -27 degree fluid, the lines are freezing when the temp drops to around 13 degrees. This has caused a real safety hazard on three different occasion when trying to wipe away salt spray and all that happens is the window smears and I have had to pull off the road, get snow off the ground to help clear the windshield. I know two others that have the same make and model and they experience the same thing. Ford has a technical service bulletin avail to their technicians to address the situation (tsp 16-0082) but I feel this should be included in a recall of these vehicles.

When the outside air temperature drops below freezing, the windshield washer fluid will not spray. This has happened almost every time is gets cold. I have checked to make sure the nozzles are clear and that there is plenty of washer fluid. This is extremely dangerous trying to drive when you cannot clear the salt off your windshield to see. This happens whether or not the vehicle is moving or at a stand still.

When temperatures are at freezing, door will not close. Windshield wiper fluid also freezes even though rated for -40 degrees. Repair was made by Ford to door latch but problem continues. Typically, car has been parked in cold weather. See job #2 on attached documentation for latest repair attempt. Many complaints from customers on forums. This is a major safety issue!!!!

While driving in winter conditions with a dirty windshield I noticed that my sprayers were not spraying washer fluid. I assumed that it was out of fluid, however when I pulled into the gas station to fill it the tank was almost full. I topped off the tank and it is still not working. I am unable to spray the washer fluid which is a significant safety concern in the winter because I cannot clear my windshield when salt / snow are sprayed up from other cars.

As we were driving on the way to school, the back windshield exploded with a loud bang. The defrosting was not on. It was in the low 50S outside, so not too cold. There absolutely no impact of any kind. Also right after it happened there was a strong smell of burnt electronic in the truck, that lasted a long time.

Rear glass exploded. Rear de-frost turned on, electrical circuit issue caused rear glass to over heat and burn up, along with cold external weather causing very hot glass explosion while driving sending glass pieces everywhere. Glass particles very fine and caused scratches and bleeding.

During freezing conditions, my factory washer fluid would not pump. It appeared frozen, as when the temperatures rose, it started working again. This happened with about 1000 miles on the truck, and still having the factory wiper fluid.

When driving in morning sun, there are thousand of small specks that appear in the windshield making it extremely difficult to see through. Picture attached of this condition by pointing truck (not moving) into morning sun. Windshield is absolutely clean inside and out and these specks are only present in morning sun. Ford indicates this is normal on all their trucks.

Concerned about windshield not being thick/strong enough in 2016 F150S due to cameras/sensors behind the glass. I have a 2016 Ford F150 platinum, purchased new in December, 2015. Current mileage is under 4K miles. This vehicle has the 701A package, which includes lane keeping and 360 degree camera systems. Within one month of purchase, the windshield was chipped due to a small rock hitting it while driving on the highway. This chip developed into an 18" crack within 24 hours. The windshield was replaced by safelite with an oem replacement - the exact same windshield as was installed by the factory. Now a month later, a small rock hit the windshield and again chipped this new windshield - and within 24 hours, that chip turned into a 12" crack across the driver's sight line of the windshield. I believe this should be investigated.

My auto driver side view mirror defaults to a position which I cannot see behind me every time I use the vehicle. I was told by the dealership that Ford may have intentionally set the mirror to behave this way. I forget to adjust the side view mirrors with each entry and realize the mirror is not adjusted after I am already backing, so I have to slam my brakes to stop the vehicle so that I can adjust the mirror to back safely.
