Summary
Some 2019 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 2.7L EcoBoost engine built on before 14-Aug-2019 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P04DB stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to a strategy within the PCM software. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to update the PCM calibration.
