I make a panic stop with my 5,000 lb boat, ABS light came on break light came on flashing warning light said to inspect brakes. Moved truck and found I had only partial breaking, carefully drove home with partial breaking.. At home all lights went out and brakes worked fine. Took to dealer they said a sensor went bad and they ordered part will be here in a few days. Truck only has 7500 miles on it, replacing a sensor does not fix the problem of a sensor that can at any time go bad again. This is a major design flaw similar to the original 121 brakes on trucks. This is going to get someone killed. There is no reason to install a sensor that can disable any part of the breaking system.

I was pulling into my spot at work and the power steering assist light and pre collision assist lights cam on along with advance trac. At this point I had no power steering. Luckily I was basically stopped. I cycled the key on and off twice and it finally went back to normal. Then later that same day I started the truck up and proceeded to leave from work and the seatbelt restraint light, abs system, and tpms stopped working and I was notified of the faults via ford pass. The lights then went away right after. I have a service apt 9/29 at the dealer to see what is going on but I-€™d like to get this documented in case it becomes a recurring issue. Thanks

On multiple occasions my ABS system doesn-€™t work (no collision assist fault and ABS fault comes on). Brakes don-€™t work without great force when this happens. Ford service saw the errors in history but said couldn-€™t fix / find current issue. This is intermittent so active fault lights and issue come and go. Dangerous condition that Ford isn-€™t addressing!

I bought a new 2021 F-150 Powerboost exactly 60 days ago, drove approximately 1500 miles until I completely lost brakes on the car almost causing an accident. I brought the car over to the dealer Cross-Roads Ford of APEX and after one day with my truck, they diagnosed the issue, made software updates to all modules, and returned the car. I got the car and within 5 minutes from the dealer, lost brakes again and had to manage to stop the vehicle... Returned to the dealer and it's in for diagnosis again but they asked me to contact Ford. This is not acceptable, I put my family at risk twice and possibly others in the road with this truck. Opened a case with Ford CAS-32036511-Y0W3W4.

While attempting to drive the vehicle out of the driveway the brake pedal and went all the way to the floor and the vehicle would not stop. Then, after approximately 10 to 15 feet the brakes locked up completely. The ABS fault light, hill descent control not available light, and pre-collision assist not available light all were flashing on the dash. The vehicle was towed to the dealership. The dealership was able to confirm the issue and has determined that there was an issue with the brake booster.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph, the brake pedal extended to the floor while attempting to stop the vehicle. During the failure, the front brakes failed to activate and the rear brakes were delayed in activating, causing the stopping distance to be extended. The ABS warning light was illuminated. Several messages displayed on the instrument panel alerted the driver that the hill assist, collision avoidance, and drive mode functions were inoperable. The vehicle was towed to jim burke Ford located at 2001 oak St, bakersfield, ca 93301 to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the electronic brake booster was faulty. The brake booster was replaced, the brake module was updated, and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 660.
