Some 2021 F-150 vehicles equipped with console shift may exhibit a condition where the gear shift lever will not shift out of PARK. Some vehicles may also have the gear shift lever stow position delayed or inoperative. This may be due to software in the gearshift module (GSM) or internal GSM damage. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the GSM or replace GSM if internal damage is found.
