There is an outstanding recall (NHTSA 22V686, Ford 22C22) for Front Park Lamp Flicker. The original notice stated the fix would be available in January. January is now past, and no updates on the status of this fix has been provided by Ford. I am filing this complaint in an effort to obtain an update on when this fix should now be expected.

Purchased a vehicle with a cord dealership and found out it had a recall (22C22) front light flicker. I was unable to take the vehicle off the lot. Found out this recall has been in effect since roughly August 2022 with no remedy to fix as of yet. I have been checking daily for updates and still nothing! I really want this vehicle and it-??s been 5 months since the recall to effect with no fix! Aggrivating

There are two things that have been happening, and are widely prevalent on different online forums as well. 1) While the vehicle is on the stereo will end up going into a loud max volume crackling and popping and won't shut off even when the truck is turned off. This has already caused an accident. Please see attached forums: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/dangerous-b-o-sound-system-issue.9254/ https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/gremlins-ii-crackling-static.93548/ https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/extremely-loud-electrical-pop-followed-by-loud-static.9591/ https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/my-ears-are-hurting-b-o-sound-system-goes-crazy-safety-issue.91946/ 2) Headlight DRL on Ford Raptor flickers while driving and is clearly a violation of NHTSA safety guidelines.
