The vehicle's engine has shut down without warning four times. The fuses and parking lights were replaced. The theft alarm was disabled.

The vehicle experienced power surges with no load in the trailer. This would occur on less of an incline with a stronger surge. The problem was intermittent and would go to base idle which occured often but not always before the power surge. The "glow light" and fuel light would come on.
