Twice now in the last two weeks I have struck a bump in the road at 60 mph that caused the steering to shake so violently I had to pull over to stop it this also happened recently at 70 mph in a similar situation on interstate highway causing me to have to pull off the road in desperation to gain control

The vehicle front end begins to shake violently, sometimes with a bump in the road, or when I apply the brakes. The problem seems to be getting worse. Very noticeable at highway speeds. Mileage around 130,000, tires showed wear outside edge, new tires from the dealer had to be re-balanced around 50,000 after I bought them, way out of balance. The shaking moves the steering wheel so much so that I could easily loose control if I was not paying attention, very dangerous.

Ford death wobble 2015 F250 has 80200 miles, I ran over a bridge expansion joint on I-40 road was a straight section in tn my speed of 74 miles per hour, (cruise control) after driving 11 hrs and only 50 miles from home. I hit the typical highway bump and the front of the truck took off violently shaking left and right bouncing up and down all at the same time! jumping brakes steering for the road shoulder wasn't sure the steering was even working I almost caused an accident slowed down from 74 to 50 front wheels and steering returned to normal truck isn't safe for travel.

The vehicle will start to shake violently when traveling at speeds of 30-50 miles an hour if the road is not smooth. It does not happen all the time. Ford replaced the steering damper but that did not resolve the issue. They are now saying that it may be the traction bar. This is a safety issue as the front end shakes so violently that it almost cause loss of control. This should not happen with a vehicle that only has 107000 miles.

While driving on local roads the steering wheel starts shaking, the front wheels are wobbling and causing the truck to become unstable. In order to maintain control I have to slow the vehicle down until the wobbling stops. It seems to happen on very smooth and flat highways. It first happened around two years after I bought the truck new but I didn't think it was an issue as it only happened on one certain stretch of road that I traveled occasionally. In the last year it has started happening more and more often causing me concern that the truck could become uncontrollable. The truck has been well maintained and has never been used off road or hauled/pulled heavy loads. The stock suspension is not modified/lifted.

I was driving my truck on 6 lane highway at highway speeds, 65-75mph. When I hit a bump in the road the entire vehicle began to shake violently. The truck was hard to control and the steering and braking of the vehicle were greatly impaired and the shaking didn't stop until I decreased the speed by at least 15-20mph. This has happened several times when either one tire hits a pothole in the road or both tires hit an uneven bridge on the highway.

This truck has what is known as in the internet as death wobble, I got the vehicle recently from a dealer with no info on the manner. The truck loses control briefly when over 60 miles per hour when the front tires drive through small holes or bumps on the road, more common on the highway. Has happened multiple times, tbis specific incident happened on the highway over 60 miles per hour, lost control briefly, had to significantly slow down to regain control.

My 2015 F250 has developed the notorious Ford death wobble. When the truck hits a bump, bridge joint, or any large enough deformity in the road it will cause the truck to shake violently and lose all steering control. This has happened 4 separate times now and it is only getting more frequent. I have booked an appointment with a Ford service department on 24jun2020 to have the suspension looked at. Unfortunately, I have not been able to document the incident yet, but I have had others in the vehicle with me when it has happened.

I have a 2015 Ford 250 and on several occasions when I'm driving 50 miles and there are irregular patches on the road or some irregularity on the street the vehicle begins to shake and I lose the steering wheel control I have to reduce the speed. I have replaced the pitman bar and terminals, but the problem continues.

My truck is experiencing the "death wobble" it starts at speeds as slow as 20mph and gets very bad and very hard to control starting at 60mph. The truck shakes violently and feels like it is about to shake apart on any highway or street. It does it in turns and while driving straight. I was going down the interstate at 75 miles an hour and went over a bridge expansion joint and the truck went into a violent shake. I had to fight the truck to keep it on the road. Once I slowed to under 25mph the violent shake stopped.

Severe and repeated bouncing of steering tires. Has happened numerous times since I have owned the truck. Ford's response has been nothing more than replace the steering dampener. Is not a fix, only masks the root cause of the problem. Now the vehicle is off warranty and they still won't/can't fix the problem. I'm afraid to let other family members drive the vehicle for fear of causing an accident. It happens anywhere between 45-70 mph and completely without warning. Requires immediate lowering of speed in traffic to get it to stop. Numerous close calls people swerving to getaway from my vehicle when condition occurs. Please demand a recall, this is not something new and fmc is very aware of it.

I was driving my Ford 2015 F-250 in motion. After stopping at the stop sign, I proceeded to enter the highway and I was starting to accelerate to highway speed. The steering wheel started to wobble a lot back and forth and I could drive the truck safely. I was able to slow down enough while steering wheel was wobbling back and forth to get the truck under control and stop. I was able to get home and park it. I took the truck to my mechanic and he told me that two ball joints are loose and they should not loose to the touch. He also told me that the tracker bar is loose to the touch. All three items should be tight. I uploaded the photo I took at the repair shop showing the ball joint. Please have Ford do something about this dangerous action.
