With 37K miles on my vehicle and all maintenance performed and followed by dealer, I was driving down highway at 70 mph hauling a 13K lb 5th wheel rv when suddenly truck and steering started to shake violently. With a heavy load attached I braked and slowed vehicle to 50 mph to stop shaking. I was 200 miles from nearest Ford dealer in el paso and drove truck and rv there for immediate service. Internet research shows this condition is common with F250 trucks even under 10K miles! this is a very dangerous and life threatening episode especially at highway speed. There is a Ford tsa which describes this problem.

Death wobble- 2016 Ford F-250 is experiencing the death wobble at speeds above 60mph. This is a continuing problem, the service manager at my local dealership stated there is no tsb from Ford recognizing the 2016 has a problem with the death wobble. The dealership has replaced the parts in the front end that Ford says to on models that experience the same issue. This has not fixed the problem. This is a serious safety issue with all these vehicle and Ford knows about this issue and has not done anything to help the consumer. I have spent over $2000 to fix this and it's not fixed yet.

My truck, with 41,000 miles, is suffering whats being referred to online as the " death wobble ". the symptoms began at around 21,000 miles and it has grown steadily worse. It happens when hitting bumps or bridge expansion joints at highway speed, forcing me to slow to approx 20 mph to regain control, which is very unsafe on a crowded highway. The dealer I purchased the truck from new said it is not a warranty item and may not even be covered under my additionally purchased 10 year 100,000 mile extended warranty. The truck is essentially unsafe at highway speeds and my wife wont even ride in it. Ford is ignoring a huge problem with their product, people have already been hurt, someone is going to be killed! please help!! I have an appointment at the dealers service department for tueday, 10-23-18. They have informed me that any work they do may be on my dime, which just blows my mind. Again, please interject into this issue before someone is killed and to save the buyers from having to pay Ford to address this obvious engineering mistake.

Has a hissing sound under the passenger side, has been giving us upset stomachs and sometimes head aches, just plain sick feeling, when the ac and defrost are on. Also from end ABS seems to engage when going around a bend and then supposedly the auto correct kicks in and tries to correct the truck pulling steering wheel. Was told they tested one truck and it did it one time, this is after they put in countless hrs on labor plus a $1000 into a new steering column and determined that it is normal operating condition. Didn't buy it for this god for sake noise. As for the hissing, told me to detail the truck and that they were not going to do anymore for this. This has been going on since the first week of buying this truck. Over and over to the dealership, they keep putting new parts on. If this is normal operating conditions, than why don't they know what to replace and keep putting more test and parts. No answer on the hissing sound and very very rude managers at dealership.
