After filling the car with fuel, car tries to stall and drop RPM's while idling. Car stalled twice while rolling to a red light after filling up. Problem goes away after 10-15 minutes of driving. RPM while idling is highly unpredictable after filling up.

Ford is saying that they have the parts to cover this recall, but they are on backorder and hard to get, and the dealers do not receive adequate parts to do the job, nor are they getting the proper instructions or training to do the job. My car has been in for 25 days, on a job that is supposed to take 5 hours, and there is no word on when or if it will ever be completed.

I was driving and my door flew open. I've owned the car 4 years. I've had 2 transmission clutches replaced, 2 sync systems replaced, there have been other parts but I don't have that info at the moment. There have been 8-9 parts in total. Some of the recalls I have researched were before I was sold the car. I have contacted Ford Motor Company and was told if I didn't like it, don't buy another Ford. I just had the latest transmission clutch and sync replaced a few months ago and asked about any current recalls and was told none at the moment. I had my warning light sensor checked last month because it came on while I was driving. I was told nothing was found and they reset the light. It came back on. Still nothing found. I have contacted them repeatedly only to receive no help. These cars should've never been sold like this much less allowed to remain on the road!

Cooling system fails on the car without warning. The temperature gauge and over temperature warning light do not indicate / come on until the engine fails and the vehicle looses power. I have had to replace the engine two times. Each time there was no indication of low coolant or overheating condition. My car was at highway speed and lost power and shut off within seconds leaving no time to safely pull off the road. Both times I was on a state highway with little to no berm.

Low coolant level came on (where did it go?) filled up coolant. Still low. Car wouldn't start. Towed to dealer and they said "found #1 cylinder has no compression. Removed spark plugs, wet with coolant. Bore scoped cylinder, found wet" they say I need new engine (with a $4800 quote). Why did coolant all of the sudden leak into engine without warning? car was in motion.

Rattle in transmission when excellerating from 10-30 miles an hour. Have had it in shop and they tell me its in the transmission and that the car has a lot of plastic parts that may cause the rattle, but no fix" they could not tell me if this was dangerous or not?" sometimes it is very loud. City street driving, some freeway, and turning. Ck'd for recalls, found none. This is on going, everyday.

1.0 liter ecoboost engine will overheat without warning and catostophic engine failure will result. The coolant temperature and warning lights do not provide any early warning. The engine looses power / fails and only then do the warning lights come on. I was driving up a hill and the car lost power. I downshifted and noted no warning lights or out of normal ranges. I was attempting to pull off the road and the engine lost all power and left me sit in the middle of the road. Only when the engine stalled did the coolant temperature light come on. The gauges provided no early warning of a cooling issue. This is the second new engine I had to have Ford install in this car and both times the exact same thing happened. Cooling issue with no warning prior to catastrophic engine failure. Both incidents left me sit in the road with no way to pull over. I had no warning. This is to report the latest incident.

I bought this Ford Fiesta with the 1.0L ecoboost new. All maintenance for this car is uptodate no mechanical problems with the engine until Oct 10, 2017. I noticed the coolant level was well below the min. Line of the coolant reservoir almost below the turbo coolant line in the tank. I immediately found some approved coolant and added it until the max. Line. There were no warning lights and the car didn't overheat the day before. I checked the coolant level 3 days later and found that it was halfway between the two lines on the tank. I filled it up to the max. Line. I checked it again on sat. Morning of Oct. 21st. It had dropped to the min. Line. I thought this was a definite problem. I checked over the hoses and looked over the engine block, the intercooler, and what I could of the radiator, but I didn't see signs of coolant leaking. In less than two weeks I put 3/4 of a jug of coolant into my car and it only had about 36000 miles on it. I brought it to a local Ford dealer on sun Oct. 22. and the techs did a diagnostic and pressure test on mon. He called me to say they couldn't find anything wrong. I told him of the amount of coolant so he thought to recheck. The dealer did a total of 3 pressure checks on the car with no leaks. I asked if he could check the exhaust for coolant out the tail pipe. He said that if it was doing that the car would be running rough but it ran fine. I'm picking the car back up since he said they couldn't do anything more. It doesn't make sense, where did all the coolant go" is my car going to overheat and do something like the other ecoboost engine problems, including engine fires"

Awhile back my car ran hot. I went to the store and bought some coolant to put in it and it was fine. Later on down the road maybe 3 months ago I noticed that my car ran hot and I thought that it was due to the a.C. running so from that point on I never ran the air. So appropriately 3 weeks ago my husband went to the hospital and when he got the car valet had the air running and from that day it continued to run hot. I allowed it to cool, added coolant and it didn't help. My car proceeded not to crank. I got it towed to a mechanic and he said that I had blown a head gasket. From there I towed it to a local Ford dealership where they did a full diagnostic and they proceeded to tell me that I've blown and head gasket and that the cylinder walls are damaged as well and they recommend me replacing the engine which would cost roughly $8000

The car shutters when you hit the gas and it sometimes acts as if it doesn't have any power. I have taken it back to Ford and they keep reset the transmission control module but then it goes right back to shuttering and not picking up speed again.

See attached statement word document for full details. I have owned this car for two years now, I purchased it in December of 2014. At the time I was commuting 120 miles daily to support a project. I was very early on the car began to jerk and shake. I retuned it first for a defective tire, defective backup sensor and unsafe transmission functionality. Kings Ford (cincinnati oh) replaced the tire (I had to pay for the tire), replaced the backup sensor (warranty) and 'reset/updated' the transmission controls firmware. After this, I retuned the vehicle multiply times for unsafe transmission functionality. After about two more times of kings Ford 'resetting/updating' the transmission controls firmware they finally replaced the clutches. This was at 20,000 miles. Since then I have taken the car to kings Ford two more times for unsafe transmission functionality. Each time they 'reset/updated' the transmission controls firmware. Yesterday, I called Ford roadside to pickup the car and return it to kings Ford due to unsafe transmission functionality. Also, I have another faulty tire and the air handing actuators in the dash are making grinding sounds. I have had multiply near accidents due to the vehicles unsafe transmission functionality. The vehicle has disabled itself in high speed interstate traffic. I had navigate the car from the fast lane to the right shoulder without any available power. I narrowly missed a set of large commercial trucks! once at the side of the road, I had to cycle the ignition before the car would respond to accelerator inputs. There have been multiply other instances where the car fails to accelerate correctly when merging into traffic'nearly being rear ended, certainly leading to a few road rage incidents.

Transmission control module has been a recall on my car since 3 months after my purchase. Everytime I take the car in to be serviced they all say the same thing "nothing is wrong" but I have my cars vehicle health reports the past years and they all say the recall is an error my car has left me on the side of the road having to be towed, also had them suggest buying a new battery after a year is ridiculous, also the fan motor on the car has been replaced 2 times and the vehicle still overheats today as we speak. I bought this car brand new and it has been a awful worry everyday driving will it overheat or is the transmission going to go today" I believe this car has been a lemon from the day I bought it. Ford has also accepted their part in the transmission by offering to extend the warranty from 36000 to 150000. They know this is a problem. Ford is having me take my car to dealers all over trying to get them to fix the transmission all of the dealers say the same thing nothing is wrong. I would like the peace of mind I deserve from my new car purchase I pay my payment every month why cant I have that peace of mind" I have to leave work everytime they want me to take the car elsewhere and I bought this car for peace of mind. Why is it no one wants to do anything about it. A lemon is a lemon and another vehicle should be offered or something this is not right. 2 years of this constant battle over what is wrong with the car, why have the vehicle health report option if you want me to ignore what it is telling me> I don't get it.

Purchased car in June 2014 and in September 2014 I began seeing the transmission module recall every time I did a vehicle health report took it in every time the report came back, every time the Ford place I bought it said they could do nonthing to help in early March the transmission completely quit and I had to have it towed only to have the Ford place tell me that I had to replace the battery. The car was barely 1 1/2 years old and so I did and they said that I could keep bringing the car back but Ford would not let the fix the module due to whatever. They did extend the transmission warranty from 36K to 60 K which leads me to this point I have had the car back at the dealer at least 3 more times each time I have to leave the car and it never gets fixed the milage is at 59 K now and I took it to a different dealer in another town today and they said it was fixed and I came back to work and did another vehicle health report and it is still showing as a factory recall I will upload the report to you. Also so the car has had to have a new fan put on it 2 different times for overheating I cant afford to have all this work done this car has caused me more pain than I can deal with. I have tried to trade the car and am upside down I have only this vehicle and must work and have never had such horrible luck with a new car this car is the most I have ever spent almost $17000. It is not right for this to be happening. When the car broke down and the transmission would do nothing I was stranded on the highway, I have complain with Ford and the dealer since I bought this car and nothing ever gets done.
