On 7/5/2003 while driving at 85 mph on the highway engine stalled. The vehicle had this same problem last year, and the fuel pump was defective. The vehicle will be taken to the dealer on 7/8/2003.

Over the past three months the engine has been "cutting" off with no notice and has increased in frequency as time goes by. To my surprise and contrary to the impression I received from the local Ford dealer and the Ford 800 number this stalling problem was not unknown and could be dangerous.
